I'm astonished at the diversity of nationalities around here! I've even seen a couple of Spanish guys on this thread. ¡Hola!Well, hello everyone! The name's Angie. I'm a geeky 19-year-old Spanish girl who takes a keen interest in languages. I'm studying to become an English and French to Spanish translator, actually! I'd like to learn at least a couple of languages more, though. ;) As many of you guys, I love animation movies. I've always liked drawing and I personally admire artists working in such beautiful films as HTTYD. Other hobbies of mine are animals, Pokémon videogames, reading and mostly anything Web-related.Well, I guess that's it. I registered at first just to report bugs, but I feel kind of comfortable here and thought I might introduce myself. Nice to meet you all! ¡Hola Angie! My name is Skips, I'm a home repair viking! Mind if I try out my French on you? (I can't write the accents though) Well, I will anyway XD Donc tu peux parler francais ? Je parle un peu francais mais je suis anglaise (ben, mon pere est eccosais et ma mere est anglaise). Je suis actuellement en France en ce moment, pour les vacances (pres de Paris). J'apprends francais au college et par moi meme, depuis... environ deux ans ? (Alors, mon francais n'est pas parfait, desolee !) Je ne sais pas. Guess it's my turn. I'm Vim, and I'm a 15 year old guy with a strange obsession with HTTYD. Not many others my age and gender share the interest with me haha. That's why I'm glad this forum his here! So I can talk to others like me! I like reading and writing. I also like playing video games, but i also like doing stuff outside. I like hiking with my dogs and picking berries and such. My little sisters mean the world to me. And I guess that's it. Hi Vim! I can say I share your age group but not your gender so high five for teenage-HTTYD-dom! Reading is pretty swell. I do it every day, but I mostly read fanfictions, not books c: Video games are cool too, but I'm not very good at them XD Aww, you have more than one dog!? Lucky. I have one, a little jack russell called Jake ouo And that's super sweet! I wish I had an older brother like you, but sadly I only have my big sister and little brother and we don't particularly get along. Name: Lini, but most know me as KageAngel02 (DA) or ShadowDragon07 (Fanfic).
Age: Older than 20, younger than 30 (love this one Kalle)
From: Where the forests and swamps meet.
Hobbies: Drawing, photography, digital arts, basically all kinds of arts and crafts, though i'm a bit rusty.
I love just sittin out in the forest and listening to the beauty of nature. I'm (very slowly) learning German, since mah mom was born there. I have friends from all over, coast to coast, england, germany, canada, poland, portugal, denmark...the range of accents and listening to them is awesome. I'm a very shy person, but i'm very fun to talk to when I get to know you. People jokingly call me spacey, I blame the boredom of the world for that one. I LOVE animals, i actually work at a pet/ranch store. I love reading about any type of fantasy, though anything to do with dragons, gryphons or phoenix's, i'm all over. I have a cockatiel named "Little Country", a border collie/shepard mix and two chihuahuas. Techno/trance/rave and country are my fav types of music, but i browse often. And....I have a sweet tooth like nobody's business, often people joke that i'd melt if it rained, since I eat so much of it! Uhh...that good? Oh, my fav color is purple. C8

Heyo! My forum name's Carotius. It's a name I made up in an original story I wrote last year,and it kinda stuck to me since then XD I'm from the ridiculously sunny and rainy Singapore! (which I have a feeling most of you don't know about sobsob)I'm in the age group of 15-20 year-olds,and I absolutely love HTTYD (SOUNDTRACK ESPECIALLY). I love writing stories,studying people,spending time listening to music,learning to play the flute from a friend (and self-learning piano),transcribing music,dive-bomb and torch people in SoD ( ) and sometimes even sketch random stuff. I'll be taking up a third language in a few months,and hopefully it'll be Italian! XD A lot of other things,but meh! Well,that's about all I can say? Here,have a screenie of my dragon and myself,so we can meet each other like how Chutkat mentioned  If this particular Nadder is the one you see constantly shooting fireballs at you,then heck,it's me! Thanks for the warm welcome, You might have seen me about on art sites like weasyl and fur affinity (though I have long abandoned that rat hole like I have DA ) but otherwise I have some very crappy late night sketches of Pheonia and Mers up on the "you and your dragon" Board in Fan art, Oh yeah I'm on tumblr too, though lately thats been less art more random rage stuff And yeah I'm a very Artsy person, I play like all the strings (Viola, some violin, Stand up Bass, cello, Dulcimer, Mandolin..oddly I have no talent for the guitar..) As well as a wanna be opera/musical theater singer..Renaissance faire actor, (or booth scum haha..actually more eccentric booth scum then actress..) basically my muse a very ADD fellow, he wants to do all the things aka "Jack of all trades Master of none" (Edited for being post button happy) No problem! Nope, sorry (I've never actually heard of the first two you mentioned but I did have a DA for a while when I was like 11-13-ish.) Oh, awesome, I'll be sure to check them out! I would really like to be an artsy person because I super enjoy the arts but I just don't have the talent for any of it XD I mean, I play the piano and sing but I'm not very good at those and as I said I'm awful at drawing ^^; And that's a lot of instruments!  How long did it take to learn all those?? I hardly have enough time for one XD (I would love to be either of those too but I'll probably just end up working in a supermarket XD) Well be wary of any of those places I mentioned, you might end up seeing things you might rather not see, (This is a long and pointless way of saying they allow NSFW stuff) Either way. As for learning all that, its pretty easy once you learn the very basics of how stringed interments work, A good way to look at it is learning how a game system works, and then learning the finer details of different games. once you get the basic idea of how it works its just fine tuning (hurdur puns) to fit the differences, As for Time frame, I learned to play the viola in elementary, the bass and cello (and relearned viola..) in middle school and went "freelance" on whatever I got my paws on from 16 and up on the ren circuit which is how I got mandolin and dulcimer *i can also play a mean kazoo) I have no idea if t hat made any sense, I'm sick as swamp lately and on cold meds, so not so much braining to be done |

Haha, ne t'en fais pas, moi aussi, je ne peux pas meme parler francais, comme j'ai decouvert quand j'etais en france (je suis de retour en Angleterre - j'ai arrive aujourd'hui). Skips: Yes, I'd say it's "desolée" if you're a girl. And don't worry, I understand you perfectly. (BTW, when I said "plus april" I meant "plus ta-rd", with no dash. The forum system autocorrects it, I don't know why. Is it a swear word or something? XD) I'm sorry about your teacher being so awful. Mine made Latin boring sometimes, too. You can always try and learn some German on your own -- I learned a BUNCH of English words, structures, etc. by surfing the Internet and watching videos. Curiosity and practice are the key! chutkat: Sí; de hecho, soy española. Carotius: Hi! You are really a music guy, aren't you? That's amazing!
