Oooh, I haven't introduced myself here yet?? Okie dokes! Here we gooooo... Well... My name is Skips and I'm from the sticky out bit at the South West of England, although I'm technically Scottish because my dad is Scottish, I have his (Scottish) surname and you're meant to take the nationality of your father over your mother, I think. But yeah, I'm fully British. I loooooooove HTTYD and movies in general, although HTTYD is my favourite - so much so that I can quote the entire thing in English and a little bit in French. I must have watched it over 50 times, at least. I read the books before the rights to the film were even bought (or my mum read them to me...), but I haven't actually read the most recent ones. My favourite HTTYD book character is Camicazi! My favourite HTTYD film character is Hiccup o3o I also loooooovveee ROTG and Avengers and X-Men (First Class is my favourite). I am extremely lazy and don't do much apart from lie in bed and read fanfiction. I read fanfiction every day! (I can't write it though, or anything at all really.) I go to an all-girls grammar school (Google it?? Grammar schools are a little weird to explain seen as I don't fully understand it) where I have to wear a brown uniform -.- Yeah, it's not too great. But I have some great friends! I speak English, a little bit of French (mon accent est vraiment épouvantable !), I take Latin lessons and I should be learning German in the near future (which I know very little of at this moment - Ich will Deutsch lernen!) I don't know what I want to do when I'm older seen as all the things I'm good at, I don't enjoy, and all the things I enjoy, I'm not very good at (for instance I love to play the piano, sing and ice skating's super fun). The only things I can really think of would be a philosopher (dunno where that would get me) or a phycologist. But meh. I also like to draw sometimes but I'm rubbish at that too, really. My dragon is called Park and he's a Nadder. He's a clown but I love him. We do home repair!I like to live in my head rather than reality, like most of us, I'm guessing, seen as it's much more fun here! But yeah I'm actually pretty uninteresting XD I have nothing else to say! (Apart from I love TV shows and movies and cartoons and books and fbwebfuhfuheb any fandoms I get obsessed with I love) I also have a sister who is one of the other users of the forums and she's great c: I remember watching ROTG with my family and near the end I started crying and everyone was just staring at me like ''what is your problem, really.'' BUT MAN, all the feels I couldnt handle. TuT

Hi, i'm new here but i hope i will find as much friends like me. I'm from Slovenia, but i still think speaking or writing english is not a problem. I'm a shy and light person. I was allways known as a dreaming girl, i didn't listen to teachers much, instead i was drawing and looking outside on beautifull trees (don't think i like biology, i don't, i just love nature). I love stories for kids, that i still read when i'm bored. I love animated movies for families, romantic movies and comedies (also for family). I don't like violence, so i don't look at action or horror movies (or anything like that). Many of people i know says that i'm so quiet, but mostly is that because i listen to others or i don't know what to say that wouldn't sound stupid. I listen to Adam Young, and i'm christian. I wish to work as animation technic in any of big studios (DWA most, but disney or 20 century fox would be great too). I'm also a scout and an animator in our church (not the technic animator, but person for kids). Oh, i forgot to say, i'm 16 soon.

Thanks Skips! What do you like to do? No problemo! Not much XD I'm very lazy - sleep is just too good! But I like to play the piano, sing in a choir, read (mainly fanficion), hang out with my buds and meet swell people on the internet (may I say, such as yourself >u<)! I don't really do much else cause of school D: Oh, and I do love learning! Interesting stuff though. I like languages, but I suck at them XD I can speak English (obviously), a bit of French and the tiniest bit of German. I tried to teach myself some Japanese too but it didn't go too well c: cool stuff I am learning how to speak Latin now. I'm not much of a talker :/

Wow, we have a lot of geographical diversity in the members. Welcome, guys! oui oui, although i think quite a significant number of us are from Europe ouoAlso you make plushies?? That's so swell, I'd love to be able to do that but sewing frustrates me so much I just cry when I try to do anything XD I can't even thread a needle unless I work at it for like half an hour ^^; I'm hopeless Yeah, sewing is frustrating sometimes... XD I sew lots of stuff, like clothes and quilts, and I've recently picked up making plushies. I understand why it'd be hard, though, it really is trial and error. xD

Tempest, start saving up for a visit! 2 weeks is just about perfect ^_^ and no matter what time of year you go, there's fun stuff to do. July is prime time to climb Fuji-san, August is Obon, and all the neighborhood summer festivals! When the leaves start changing in the fall is the perfect time to do some hiking - I liked going to Nikko to see the temples surrounded by red maples, and Mt. Hakone near Tokyo. Winter has the cheapest plane tickets, usually - try late January or February. The skiing up in Nagano is fantastic! Or you can go snowshoeing or ice-climbing closer to Tokyo. Spring is cherry blossom season, but also a good time to do some white water rafting or waterfall climbing! And no matter what time of year you go, there's tons to do in the cities. Odaiba hotsprings in Tokyo is a hoot, Meiji temple is always beautiful, and the Harajuku cosplayers almost never take a Sunday off XD Ikebukuro is filled with department stores (fun to see the difference between east and west shopping!) and also is a great place for otaku to get alllll sorts of anime-related *stuff.* I spent a lot of money there XD I have a ton of pencil boards from shows like Bleach and Full Metal Alchemist. My favorite little 100yen udon shop was in Shinjuku ^_^ and the Sony building let's you walk through to see their new products - and games! I only briefly visited Kyoto and Osaka, but there's lots of stuff to do there, too ^_^ it's definitely worth saving up for, even if it'll be a few years before you can go. Just plan to bring an extra, empty suitcase to fill up with all the gifts and goodies you'll want to bring back! (and have some takoyaki for me! I miss takoyaki so much ;_; ) Wow, that sounds like an amazing experience... I love listening to people talk about their experiences in foreign countries. I might be going on a student exchange to Japan within the next two years if I'm lucky, so thank you for talking about that. e: ALSO asdfghjkl your dragon's name is Stellaluna? I loved that book when I was little. XD

Hello all!
ShadowFall my dragon thought I was being too shy and thinks I should post here. I usually fairly quiet, but can talk a lot about things I love, dragons being one of them. I'm a college graduate(you're never too old for fun!) and have a job working with animals which I love. Mostly when I'm not working or trying to control my two new kittens, I'm usually playing video games, reading, or writing my own stories and roleplays.
That's pretty much the basics. (I hope you're happy Shadow!) Looking forward to meeting some of you around the board!

I might be going on a student exchange to Japan within the next two years if I'm lucky, so thank you for talking about that. e: ALSO asdfghjkl your dragon's name is Stellaluna? I loved that book when I was little. XD My first trip to Japan was a 2-week long high school exchange trip ^_^ I hope you can do it! It really made a difference in my life, I think. For one thing, it led me to living in Japan for a year after I graduated college XD. The high school exchange was all planned out by the organizers, of course, so we didn't get much free time to do what we wanted, but the first time you're there it's hard to know exactly what you want anyway! We got to visit a lot of cities on that trip, at least. But the next year, when the Japanese families came to America, I met my awesome exchange family through it! When I went back to live there, they had me come visit for a week and were so wonderful at showing me around (they live in Osaka, and I lived near Tokyo, so it was a bit of a trip to see them) and cooking up traditional food for me to try! Start saving up now, work part time jobs if you can, so you can buy lots of neat mementos while you're there And I still love that book XD the art is just lovely, and the story is so sweet! Plus, I <3 bats much nicer than spiders for keeping the bugs away! Greetings to Arlya, too! Don't worry, you're not the only 'big kid' here ^_^ we're only as old as we feel, right? The more the merrier!

Thanks, karyon! I've always thought that too! Japan sounds awesome! I've always wanted to try and make a trip there, but I'm not sure it'll ever happen. I hope you can Dragonesque and that it's as wonderful as it sounds! I once spent three months in Tajikstan as part of a college exchange though. A lot different from Japan I'm certain, but going abroad is a fantastic experience that I think everyone should have at least once. It was so much fun and very exciting! Especially seeing how different other cultures live and view the world.

It's seems that it becomes a habit.OK,everyone comes there can introduce himself,so let me introduce myself.I'm jewel, but I usually call myself"night wheel",in Chinese it means“ye lun”. A surprise fact is:I come from China.Yes,that is true,I'm a Chinese. So,if you find spelling or grammar mistakes, please don't scream and yell. But welcome to point out mistakes. After all,it’s too difficult for a Chinese to speak English. Sorry,I digress.I'm a 15-year-old girl,I live near the West Lake——not in Hang zhou,it's in Hui zhou,Guang dong.I like playing badminton and running on the playground. The second hobby is reading book. But it's not at all.I like see films best, especially Animation movies, for example,HTTYD,Rio and Rise of the Guardians. So I found there and joined there. (P.S.:zhe duan hua hua le wo yi ge duo xiao shi……)(This is a Chinese ,can you understand?

Hello everyone :) I'm Karyon, rider of Stellaluna, a green-and-gold Deadly Nadder who is currently working on sticking her landings a bit better ^_^; somehow she keeps ending up on her side instead of her feet, silly dragon. I'm a young-at-heart college student who is a big fan of Dreamworks, and I don't plan to ever grow out of enjoying their stories and movies! I'm also a member of the SCA (waves to fellow SCAdians) - Draco Invictus, Midrealm! - and I do fencing, archery, and costuming, when I can! I also love roleplaying, especially tabletop, but also forum RP :) I play on a site called Stella Erratica as Cirago - it's an open genre/world setting where original characters from different universes can cross paths, including Berk Vikings, if anyone wants to drop by and say hello! I enjoy gardening, reading science fiction and fantasy, and musical theater. I've visited Stockholm, and I lived in Japan for a year (Saitama-shi, anyone?), though that was a while ago and I'm afraid my conversational Japanese is horribly rusty. I still enjoy anime and manga, though! I've just started playing, and in spite of the game overheating my poor laptop (anyone else have this problem/know a solution?), I'm already addicted ^_^ this is a fun game, with a great team, and a wonderfully welcoming community. Feel free to drop me a greeting in the game any time! Hiiiiiiiiiiiii, Karyon (and Stellaluna)! Ooooh, Starmoon? That means Starmoon? Right? Still a cute name anyways c: The SCA? I will Google that, from what you have said afterwards it sounds interesting XD That sounds quite fun, I might go sometime! I looovvveee musical theatre (but I haven't really gotten the chance to see many musicals! D: Plus I do classical singing rather than musical theatre :c) And I love to read lots of stuff, but mainly fanfiction, some of which would most definitely fall under the genres of fantasy and science fiction. WOAH, YOU LIVED IN JAPAN FOR A YEAR?? I wanna go so bad :'( Too expensive for my parents though. And Sweden too? Lucky. (I like Sweden). I like some anime and manga, too! But not a lot. I know the tiniest bit of Japanese too (basically just 'hello' and 'can you understand English?'). I've never really heard of Saitama. I'm Skips, The Home Repair Viking and my Nadder is called Park c: Nice to meet you!

Well, I'll go ahead and introduce myself. Hi! I'm The Joshinator, and I'm not exactly your average dragon trainer (if there even is such a thing...). The name comes from my 8th-grade class-rep campaign poster, which was the cover for The Terminator with my face photoshopped on; it's been my online moniker ever since. Anyways, a bit more about me besides my name.
I'm American born and bred, age 19 (reppin' the older players!), a lifelong Christian, employed as a CNC machinist with a firearms manufacturer, have no background in the arts or graphic design whatsoever (more of a math/physics/engineering guy) and have never actually played an online RPG before. I have, however, fallen head-over-heels in love with the HTTYD franchise. Seen the movie, shorts and the series, tracking down the third book, and eagerly awaiting the future movies and series. I'm a sucker for a good underdog story, and besides, who doesn't love a tale of dragons and Vikings? I think Dreamworks hit it out of the ballpark and made something that is attractive to a broad audience, but even aimed at a younger group I think the books have a compelling story. The game is great IMHO because I get to live in that world instead of just having it narrated to me.
In game, I have a couple different faces. You may see me around as Magnus, followed faithfully by my Gronckle, Slugbug. I might also make an appearance as Hammerstein, being chased around by (and occasionally riding... ;-D) a Monstrous Nightmare named Maceforge. A Jekyll and Hyde duality, if you will, and you wouldn't believe how long it took to come up with those names! XD Side note: Shoutout to the dev team, they really feel like two totally different characters, not the same dragon with different skins. Not sure how you program a personality into a computer program, but nice job!
Anyway, that's enough about me for now. Work comes early in the mornings... Looking forward to hanging out with you guys! :-D
