I was thinking that as a dragon choice, there could be Night Furys. Yes Toothless is a Night Fury, but he is different because of his tail fin. But instead of big pupils like Toothless has, they could be slits or just not as big. Just a suggestion because I know everyone (or almost everyone) loves Night Furys. Thanks for reading.

It's been discussed before, I'm not sure if the game is "canon" for say, but since toothless is the only nightfury it'd be hard to implement and still say lore friendly. "Admin" has given some sneaky hints as to night fury's in game, but as of yet nothing has really been set in stone. The problem with adding night furys, is that their ridiculous popularity and overall general appeal of being cat like and downright adorable causes them to be instantly wanted. IF the devs were to add night furys to the game, they'd have to release the dragon as well as other dragons to reduce the "New" factor. They'd also have to make the night fury a member/donor thing, heck maybe even a code thing as a promotion. Otherwise the game will look like this:

Great picture p3t3rsam XD I'm kinda torn between whether to say yes or no to the question. I think no, because ya, they are popular dragons. EVERYBODY would want them, and I'd kinda leave all other dragons in the dust. But on the other hand, I want a Nightfury too X3 They're fast, powerful, playful, and adorable. In all though, I don't think that it's really up to us whether Night Furys get added or not, it's up to Dreamworks. They have all the big plans for where the dragon franchise is going, and if they plan to, let's say, have every night fury be killed in a volcano eruption, I don't think they want ether the game or the TV show to have night furies, so as not to give mixed messages, if you get what I mean.

Oh geeze, that'd be terrible. Can you even imagine? "Congratulations, young night fury owning vikings. We hate to say this, but all of your night furys fell into a giant volcano so that the canon would remain unchanged for the show!"

I'd mentioned this on the Q&A day but...
I would definitely love if they added night furies to the game. They're probably the most popular among the fans, and so, why didn't they add them if that's the case? My theory was just as p3t3rsam said...everyone would choose them and not any of the other dragons. Which is why the team might've decided to not add them.
Although, I think they should be added. If the feature to have more than one dragon is added, of course. Because, how many people still wanted to even recreate their fan characters? Although to solve the problem of them being everywhere, players should be allowed to get them once they get to a specific level, that way not everyone, especially the new players can get them.
But by a specific level I mean a very high level. Not one in which the player will reach after a few days of playing.
So...there's my own part to this suggestion XD there's more to it, but I'd rather include it in my own topic. I'm still trying to come up with more ideas to post them at once.
EDIT: Hahaha that photo's funny XD

I definitely think they should be added to the game - I don't think keeping them out of the choices is fair to the series, but they could place restrictions on how to get one. I don't think buying them with gems or getting them via promotional code would be fair, either - I would think that they could become unlockable in the game after completing a difficult task, such as getting above a certain score on Fireball Frenzy or getting to a high level on your viking. Maybe there could be a hidden hatchery somewhere, and it would contain a bunch of rare dragon eggs including the Night Fury. Or maybe they could do it like Neopets does and make them limited edition - release a controlled amount in increments, like 100 Night Furies every month.

Do not make them a member thing Do not make them a non-member thing Do make them a rare thing
There is the mystery class dragons correct? Nightfury is part of this so create a certain place (or numerous places) to find all the mystery class dragons. If you go to the right place, you will find the nightfury. If you go to another place, you will find a different dragon.
My solution to this ^_^

And the mystery class Hiccup was searching mystery class in book of dragons and found Nightfury. But still, more dragons of each class should be implemented

Now that's confusing *Goes to search on wikia*
*EDIT*
Quote from Wiki.
"?Despite having very little information in the Dragon Manual as well as only one seen in existence, Night Furies do not fall under the Mystery Class. "

Now that's confusing *Goes to search on wikia* LOL I think dragons can actually be more then one class. If you remember the whispering death it was mystery class but its also the boulder class. Now thats an interesting fact o.o EDIT: Remember sometimes the wiki can be edited by ANYONE so I do not believe that fact. I remember precisely in the movie that it was under the mystery class Double Edit: Or perhaps they are mystery UNTIL more is found out about them.

True, but in the movie/video/episode "The Book of Dragons", the Night Fury was a Sharp Class. The Whispering Death is considered a Boulder class. It's even in the game.

No need to check wiki. It's canon since The Book of Dragons" Movie. Night Fury is strike class, since it's related to thunder (same as the Skrill). Whispering Death have always been boulder class, since it's related to earth (same as Gronkle).

Ok nightfury being sharp class is just plain wrong lol. It has nothing sharp on it except maybe its teeth And yes but is the whispering death still a mystery? Or just a boulder now that more has been found out about it? Off-topic but can anyone get into SoD atm? It just keeps loading for me before I can even select my character
