And terastas, maybe you get a code for a new character slot for the night fury, and maybe you get a different prologue, like maybe you found one of the last night fury eggs on berk or something like that..

If I'm honest, some kind of premium membership deal for night furies is the very last thing I ever want to see.
I understand the people behind this game have bills to pay and they expect us to help them do it, but what the minute they start thinking "How can we get them to spend money?" the game is going to suffer.
This early in its development, there's only about a day's worth of gameplay outside of fishing, racing and target practice. That means I have no real incentive to buy anything, not even a night fury, since there's so little I can do in the game with it.
Family Guy Online made the exact same mistake. The admins kept cranking out more and more premium content, but the maximum level could still be obtained over a weekend, so nobody bothered with it no matter how hard they tried to make it mandatory until it ultimately had to close up completely.
Not that I'm comparing this to Family Guy Online -- this is already a much better game than they could have ever dreamed of creating. Which is why I don't want to see School of Dragons fall victim to the same shortcoming. The more time they spend focusing on creating premium content, the less time they can spend adding gameplay content.
And honestly, making the night fury premium content would come across to a lot of people (myself included) as the ultimate cop-out. If they did that, you would start seeing them appear in overabundance, canon would be shot, and night furies would stop being cool in less than a week.
So if there absolutely has to be a night fury available somewhere in the game, it should be through gameplay and not premium membership. Instead of creating more stuff for players to spend money on, they should focus on creating a fulfilling enough gameplay experience that players won't mind spending a little money along the way.

As much as I would love night furies into the game, it would be best not to have them in, as people would delete their accounts just to start a new game to have one, and there would be night furies everywhere, the closest thing to a night fury to add would be a skrill, which are also epic, but I still fear there might be an abundance of them

If a certain dragon becomes overrepresented, anyone dissenting against or disenchanted with the current trend can switch over to another one at their home / stables / training rounds / whatever instead of starting over from scratch.

I still think that they should introduce a quest at a high level, then have the reward be a new character slot with the option of a nightfury.
The quest could go something like this. Hiccup says, "Have you seen Toothless lately? He's been disappearing for hours at a time, and acting strangely. Whenever I feed him, he eats half of it, then runs off with the rest of it. He even seemed to be hinting towards giving him the automatic tail again. Whatever's going on, I need you to help me. Last night, Astrid was riding Stotmfly, and says she saw Toothless climbing up to one of the caves in the wilderness. I need you to find that cave and see what he's been up to. I'd do it myself, but every time I try, Toothless turns around and flies away. Don't even suggest I climb it like Astrid suggested, because there's no way I'm climbing that high. You'll see what I mean when you reach the top."
You then fly up to the cave on your dragon and enter it, finding a long tunnel with certain riddles you need to answer to find the right direction. For example, one of the riddles could be (I know it's not good): "A Monstrous Nightmare has caught fire and is on a rampage. Upon seeing you, it extinguishes itself and begins to approach menacingly. What do you do. a. Calmly extend your hand palm out to calm him down. Turn left. b. Pin its head to the ground. Turn right.
Anyone who's watched Riders of Berk would know to pin its head to the ground. (Watch Heather Report part 1:))
Turning the wrong way takes you to more riddles, and eventually reaches a dead end. You'll never know where you messed up. They could also include little minigames that you must complete successfully, or you get kicked out of the cave and must start from the beginning. The cave could even randomly re-generate so you can't just look up a Youtube video. The rear entrance is filled with rocks until you complete the quest, and the front as well until you are given the quest.
Once you reach the end, you discover a large room with an entrance in the rear. In the center is a large rock nest with a few eggs in it. Curled up protectively around the eggs is Toothless. A small pile of fish is next to him, apparently for the eggs when they hatch. Another Night Fury flies in through the back entrance, and begins to growl. Toothless tries to assure it that you are a friend, but it doesn't work. You quickly fly out of the cave through the rear entrance and report to Hiccup.
Hiccup says, "Thanks for doing that for me. If I'd known that Toothless was only protecting me from his mate, I wouldn't have bothered him so much. Thank you, [insert viking's name here]."
The reward is a boatload of experience, but instead of coins you get a new character slot. Upon entering the hatchery with the new viking slot, Hiccup says, "Hey, [insert new viking's name here]! Your friend [insert old viking's name here] helped me find a few of Toothless's eggs. I was thinking of who to give them to, I thought that your friend should decide. He told me to give one to you, so here you go! If you want, you can hatch and raise it."
Since Toothless could mate an indefinite number of times, there would never be any question why there were more than three Night Furies flying about. If Admin worries about questions, they could throw in that Toothless can do so. I already threw in this idea, but now I think this is as specific as it can get.

Ok nightfury being sharp class is just plain wrong lol. It has nothing sharp on it except maybe its teeth And yes but is the whispering death still a mystery? Or just a boulder now that more has been found out about it? Off-topic but can anyone get into SoD atm? It just keeps loading for me before I can even select my character Sorry, Strike Class xD I GOTTA PUT THE END TO THIS! Night Fury: Strike Class NO MYSTERY CLASS AND SAME WITH WHISPERING DEATH ITS A BOULDER CLASS NOT MYSTERY!

I was thinking that as a dragon choice, there could be Night Furys. Yes Toothless is a Night Fury, but he is different because of his tail fin. But instead of big pupils like Toothless has, they could be slits or just not as big. Just a suggestion because I know everyone (or almost everyone) loves Night Furys. Thanks for reading. Night Fury dragons are pretty popular amongst the Vikings at School of Dragons and our team, Flippy23pc! But, if the "How To Train Your Dragon" movie and Dragon Riders of Berk television show taught us anything, these dragons are pretty rare, which is why they're not an option for players in the Hatchery. Although, we do appreciate the suggestion!

It's been discussed before, I'm not sure if the game is "canon" for say, but since toothless is the only nightfury it'd be hard to implement and still say lore friendly. "Admin" has given some sneaky hints as to night fury's in game, but as of yet nothing has really been set in stone. The problem with adding night furys, is that their ridiculous popularity and overall general appeal of being cat like and downright adorable causes them to be instantly wanted. IF the devs were to add night furys to the game, they'd have to release the dragon as well as other dragons to reduce the "New" factor. They'd also have to make the night fury a member/donor thing, heck maybe even a code thing as a promotion. Otherwise the game will look like this: You've really got some great insight to share with your fellow School of Dragons players! Thanks, again, for helping us answer some of theses questions, p3t3rsam.
