As Brom was announced, Ivaria's full attention snapped to the assembly before her. Could this be true? 'This man here.' Were the announcer himself's words. Brom was not simply, 'this man here'. She had read several of his books on dragon history, of which she would be lying if she said that she had not throughly enjoyed. She would have believed that he was extremely well known. Her scepticism transformed into astonishment when the historian/author walked onto the stage and then to determination when she learnt of his power to decide which of the students were allowed onto the expedition. She was sure that she would not let her skills in sword fighting be overlooked.

After the assembly was over, Walker knew he had magic studies but when he stood up from his seat he completely forgot about his fatigue and fell over as his head started spinning, a few students around him looked suspiciously at him and cocked their eye brows but just left him there. He sat on his chair a while trying to compose himself that spell had taken more out of him then he though it would, he took out a small vial from his robes and drank it all in under 3 seconds, he felt some strength return to him but not much. "This will have to do" he muttered he got back up but stumbled a bit before fining his balance and walked out the hall

Sarynn watched as Walker fell over, but couldn't get close enough through the rows of chairs that were between them to give him a hand up. He approached Walker, stating: "I have magic studies next. I was wondering if you were heading in the same direction, and if you were, would you like some help? It's the least I could do in return."

Walker looked toward his helper and smiled wearily and in a voice to match spoke "thank you, that would be most appreciated" he almost fell over again but lent against the wall, "the magic class is in the great garden It's just...." Walker grateful for the help gave directions to his helper

Edda turned when she head out of the auditorium, seeing a boy from before and the one who let them all in bent over. Before she could go and help, she was pushed back in the crowd an headed to her next class of basic magic studies.

((Haha, it seems they all have magic studies next! What a coincidence.))
Ivaria had taken the precaution of learning her timetable ((if they have timetables??)) off by heart. If her next lesson turned out not to be magic studies... well, she'd be willing to bet her life it was. Upon vacating the hall, she heard and loud noise behind her and would have carried on if it weren't for the fact that everyone standing in front of her couldn't keep to their own business. They had stopped in their hurry to stare at Walker, who she was in no way surprised to see was sprawled on the floor, having fallen over. Sighing exasperatedly, she raised an eyebrow in his direction and promptly continued on her way. If she was honest, she might have helped him as thanks, but she couldn't risk being late to the first lesson of her time at this school.

Walker sat in the Magic studies meditating their lesson was to find the magic source in the bodies and derive their powers from it, This was simple stuff any magic user had to do before being able to use magic in anyway, Walker being proficient in magic had done this almost instantly and used the remained class time to try and regain his strength by sipping from a vial that contained a murky blue liquid when ever the teacher had her back turned, and although Walker was doing fine he could see other's were struggling some what and other had grasped in quite easily, in the corner where all the dwarfs in the class playing a card game, Dwarfs couldn't use magic but Walker still thought that they could have been a bit more politer.

Edda was able to complete the magic studies lesson with ease. She was used the channeling her power like they were told, and just wished that she'd be able to go back to her restoration magics. From the corner of her eye, she spotted the boy again and decided to go and see what on earth he was drinking.
"Simple strengthening potion?" Edda was able to ask when she stood in front of him. "Or is it magicka restoration?"

Walker didn't look up but kept his eyes closed "I don't know what its called, an elf made it and when drank it can restore your body from any fatigue caused by using magic, it burns the back of your throat like that concoction you humans call whiskey except compared to this, it might as well be water" he passed the vial over to his observer "it is very nice to meet you edda" walker smiled and opened his eyes catching her gaze and holding it

She took the bottle, looking it over. From his description, it was a kind of will potion. It was common to use amongst the mages she knew. But she handed the bottle back with a smile. "Nice to meet you too. I'd also like to say thank you for helping us get into the assembly before."

Walker frowned "are you certain your thankful? Or are you being polite? Perhaps you pittied me after seeing my state" he stared a while at edda before saying softly "you are quite welcome however please do not ask for such a thing again on such short notice" he smiled then averted his eyes and closed them while facing strate ahead when he saw the teacher glaring at them "okay then you too if you feel the need to talk so much in class why not demonstrate how much better you two are than the rest of us please come to the front" all eyes were on them

"Yes I am sure I'm thankful," Edda mumbled with a roll of the eyes. Hearing the teacher made her turn and freeze a bit at what the teacher said. She was a mage herself! A healer, yeah, but still a mage! Was there a real reason to show they were better? Edda certainly didn't think so.

Frustrated, Ivaria couldn't help but groan when Edda and Walker were called to the front to demonstrate their magic. In another class, she probably would have smirked - teachers weren't easy to make a fool of. Her wits were at their end, though, her embarrassment peaked. Magic was the one thing she'd never been able to do and here Edda, a mage, and Walker, who clearly had an impressive grasp of the power, were, being called to the front to wave it in her face that almost everyone could do at least some magic but her. She might as well be a dwarf, she thought, kicking the side of the table.

Walker walked towards the front and preformed every spell the teacher made him do till she was red in the face, she then confiscated his grimoire and had him preform even more spells till she was blue in the face and sent him to the head master's office for over cockiness, Obediently and walked out after retrieving his grimoire, the teacher then turned towards edda "Just go sit down, I shall not deal with you right now" she said taking deep breaths as she went from blue to red to her normal pale

She watched the other with awe. And she was thankful when se was told to sit down. Restoration magic was easy enough, but most defensive and offensive magic were a bit complicated, as she never had to learn more than the basics. Edda returned to her seat next to Ivaria, relieved. But she felt a bit bad about him going to the headmaster.
