I'm on a MacBook Pro from late 2012 and I was playing this game for about ten minutes. Then I got the quest to go to flight school, so I did and I passed it and when I came out... no dragon. My journal tells me my dragon levelled up but he's not there. I've tried reloading and it told me I hadn't done the flight school yet. Which I obviously can't do because I have no dragon. Does anyone know how to fix this? I was enjoying this game. Hey, Ladyhedgehog! Sorry about this bug. We've received a couple reports on this issue and our production team is looking into fixing it. Could you please let us know what browser and operating system you were using? Thanks! It's Firefox and Mac OS X Version 10.8.4. It was glitching out beforehand though, it's just that reloading isn't helping with this problem at all |

Hey, djstudley! Sorry for the inconvenience. We're working on figuring out what's causing this issue so any information you can provide would help us a lot. First, what browser, operating system, and computer were you using when this problem occurred? Do you recall what mission you were on, what area you were in, if you refreshed the page, etc.? Any context surrounding this bug would be appreciated. Thanks! Thanks for the prompt reply. It was very early in the game... My first lab quest. Be cause it was so early, I just went ahead and created a new character and now I have made it past where I encounter the problem. I will let you know if it happens again. And now it happened again. It seems to happen when I leave the game and return later. This time I had gotten further, but my dragon was with me until I left the game. When I returned, he was missing. FWIW, I am currently on the 'Meet Gobbler in The Wilderness' quests, though I believe it is independent of the quest. I'm using a fairly recent (1 or 2 years old) Dell XPS and running Windows 7 Professional. I'm running the game in Firefox, though I have tried it in Chrome and IE, as well. It doesn't seem to matter. The same happend to us. My daughter went to eat dinner, and when she log in again her dragon was gone. We use an iMac with Safari, so it does not sound to have any influence what computer or browser is being used. We will just start over with a new caracter.
Great game though!

I have had this exact problem twice now. Reloading doesn't work and it's happening across multiple browsers. Thanks for letting us know, Eli. Could you tell us what browsers you experienced this problem along with the operating system and computer you were using? And do you remember where your character was or if you were doing any quests when this issue occurred? Any context you can provide would be really helpful. Thanks! I'm using a MacBook Pro with Lion OS X. The browsers I've tried this with are Firefox and Safari. I've tried making a new account on a different email and the same thing happens. I refresh the browser and my dragon is gone. I'm back to my main account now, just running around doing the fishing quests off of the Berk bulletin board since those don't require a dragon to complete. The first time it happened, my dragon disappeared right before the Wilderness Training with Gobber. The second time it happened was right after my dragon advanced to adulthood, just outside the hatchery. The third time, on the different account, was about 10 minutes in when I refreshed the browser. When the dragon disappeared each time it took me a moment to realize what had happened since the dragons trail behind you while you're running around. I didn't notice it had disappeared until I checked for the happiness bar and it was gone. The dragon's energy/happiness bar and icons are missing off of the GUI and the dragon doesn't even show up on the Journal where you can normally spend gems to recolor your dragon. I tried forcing the dragon to reload by moving from instance to instance, to no avail, and when I tried to force it to show up by going into the Fireball Frenzy it told me that I needed a dragon to play the game, which essentially implied that my dragon had canonly up and left me. Like Ladyhedgehog, though, my journal tells me my dragon has leveled up...but there is no dragon to actually level. |

I also lost my (second) dragon. The first one I made yesterday is still there. Today I started a new dragon with the DVD code from Walmart DVD #1. I had the baby Thunder Drum and went into the lab to do an experiment in the lab. When I came out of the lab Baby Thunder Drum (Name = Thunder) was gone. I am using Windows 7 computer using Chrome Version 28.0.1500.72 m. Tried loading the game in Firefox 11.0 and on a Macbook Air with Safari browser. All configurations show my first character (VikerES) with the red Zippleback dragon from yesterday, and my new character (VikerSan) standing alone with no dragon. Can you please return Thunder to VikerSan?

Hey all, I've had the same problem exactly twice. My OS is Windows 7, my computer is an HP, it's happened both on Chrome and IE. The first time it happened I was early in the quest, near the lab. The second time I had just finished the "history of dragons" Quest.
My computer runs the game very slowly in general, so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it or not.

Could you please tell us where you were at in the game when this issue occurred? Thanks! I'm using google Chrome on windows 7 ultimate? I reload the page because of a loading issue? Internet speeds in my area is not very good, and often asked reload the page,now i dont no how to take my dragon to the Hatchery to make him grow,because i have lost it  Thanks for the information, BaiLong. We'll look into the problem and let you know as soon as we fix the issue! |
