I think this might be more of a computer issue, but just in case, wanted to mention it in case other people are having the same problem.
MacBook Air, Lion 10.7.5, using Safari, because the game crashes Chrome every time. The sand on the beach always invisible, leaving objects (and Stoick!) to float in mid-air. Also makes it a little tricky to find the fishing spot without re-materialising next to the headmaster. Anywhere from 900-1700, Pacific time. (boss doesn't care if I play as long as I do my job, this is fabulous to play in the background when it's slow)
Lenovo ThinkPad, Windows 7, using Chrome, anywhere from 1800-2200(ish) no problems. Was actually a shock to play the game once I got off work and discovered there was sand! Thought it was a glitch you had fixed until I got to work this morning, and discovered the lack of sand.
Similar issue with next to the School Commons, there's a lovely hanging garden with a fabulous view of the sunset and partially behind a waterfall. -Or at least on the Air. On the ThinkPad, there's a tall building with a huge set of doors.
Think someone else mentioned problems with the chocolate. On the Air, my dragon twice blew the chocolate out of the mortar attempting to melt it. Once it flew to the right, and I couldn't get any new chocolate to replace it, so I restarted Safari. Tried it again, this time it flew to the left, but I was able to retrieve and melt the chocolate before leaving work for the day. Had to re-start the experiment when I got home, had no problems with the chocolate on the ThinkPad, although the ice was tricky to get. It also looked like my dragon was trying to eat the chocolate several times, which was hysterical.
... Is chocolate bad for Dragons?
Anyway, hope this helps-? Thanks for all your hard work!
