Hello,
My daughter and her friend made plans to meet up in this game, but didn't actually get to see each other - even though they were both in the same part of the game. They have been successful in doing this at times, but other times they weren't. Assuming this is due to them logging into different servers, is there any way to make sure they log into the same server?

Sure thing.
Macbook Pro
Mac OS X 10.6.8
Safari 5.1.9
I'm not sure what her friends are using (there are two to which this happened), but they are also using Macs.

i had experienced this before not in this game
Usually a game have several lobbies in that place
such as Berk - 5
this 'lobby' system usually prevent over logging of that place resulting crash of the game
Not sure if SoD have this implemented
Just tell your daughter to re-log to the game
