The very same thing happens to me too (fishing + alchemist), but only when i go fishing on the beaches of School. When i fish in the river of my farm, everything works fine. 3 times it showed me all of a sudden that i lost the bait, although it didn't even give me a second to try and catch the fish. Only once it appeared that i caught a Halibut without even trying  Google Chrome last version, Windows 7, Fujitsu Lifebook A Series. |

Just had this happen as well, while fishing in the Wilderness. Seemed to only happen on Eels though, which I would then lose. >P Fishing on the farm is okay. On the MacBook Air, running Chrome instead of Safari for a change, to see if it could handle SoD now that the earlier lagging problems have been taking care of. (pretty much, yes)  |
