New farming prices and rewards

The new farming quest rewards makes farming eggs pointless.

Chicken feed costs 32 coins.
Each chicken gives 3 eggs when fed chicken feed.
The quest requires 12 eggs.
The quest reward is now 95 coins instead of 170.

12 / 3 = 4 chicken feed needed
95 - 32 x 4 = -33

You lose 33 coins if you farm eggs.
Sure, you could farm them in order to feed your dragon, but that would also be a loss because fishing bait is much cheaper than chicken feed and fish is more filling than eggs.



Sunflowers will also cost you to farm.

Sunflower seefs cost 30 coins.
Sunflower seeds give 12 sunflowers.
The quest requires 36 sunflowers.
The quest reward is now 70 coins.

36 / 12 = 3 sunflower seeds needed
70 - 30 x 3 = -20

You lose 20 coins if you farm sunflowers.



Farming white wool will also reward less coins than it costs, but at least it rewards XP.

You might also want to check out the job board entry for Toothache plants. The objective says that you need 6 plants (this is correct), but the description says you need 8.

In mine the white wool only rewards 5 gold. Compared to 20 gold to feed that's an 55 gold loss. It used to be 95 gold reward.
XP or no I'm going to stop farming my white sheep, its just not worth the cost. I haven't looked through the rest yet

I think that 5 XP might actually be worth 55 gold, but that's just my opinion.

I keep one white sheep and two black sheep. It costs 20 x 9 = 180 coins to feed them in order to gather the required 3 white wool and 6 black wool for the respective quest. The total reward is 205 coins plus the XP.

It's not considering you achieve nothing at higher levels. Even if you and your dragon reach max level, there's nothing extra to do that the lower levels can't do
