If this isn't already implemented and I just don't know about it, one thing I might suggest adding to the game would be a hotkey (such as A or Q) to turn on and off the quest arrow. It's by far my most-used toggle in the settings menu - I'll turn it on when I'm hunting around the island for a list of items (like in the "Botany 101" quest), but off when I'm doing anything else so I can find my own way to people or locations. It would be nice to have the option of toggling it on and off without having to open the settings menu, like you can toggle fullscreen. I can't be the only person who does this, right?
