I don't know about the weapons. It would definitely look cool, but the game isn't really battle orientend. Then again, that may change with new updates, since the TV series second season is called Defenders of Berk, so there might be some fighting in the future. If that's the case, yeah, I would love riding my midnight blue Nightmare wielding a spear and with some sort of crested cloak-like tunic, waving in the wind =D **********SPOILER ALERT!!!!*********** About Dagur, he's sort of a "friend" of Berk. He's the leader of the Berserkers, but he signed a peace treaty after some clever acting from Hiccup and the rest, including the dragons, so I don't know quite how to have him take part in the main quest. Also, about weapons, this is supposed to be kid friendly. And don't get me wrong, I'd love to go PVP in this or just battle Outcast NPCs. But parents would say it's too violent (though don't get me started on that). So they might not add fighting unless it has to do with the show/movies. But there is a health bar in the game, and in the store on the site hiccup is holding a sword and a shield... and I don't think he has it to block the sun.

Apparently, all maps have been drawn, so I'll have to make up some new ones.

Yes, I am aware. The health bar is probably the most relevant evidence. But like I said, as it is NOW, the game isn't battle oriented. But it could, and I hope so, turn out otherwise. And if it does, I would love to give some Outcasts a *very* warm welcome.

And if we do have a "main quest" (even if we don't use weapons) shouldn't there be a boss or a rival or some enemies we fight?

That would reduce lag instead of viewing the entire population in one area all battling at the same time (though that would be awesome to see!). Since SOD is separate from Dreamworks directly (I think - they've talked about looking for unique features - dragons specifically - for SOD), maybe they could invent their own villain. Maybe, since the rumor is the SOD island was already built when Hiccup supposedly found it, a descendent of those who built it comes back with a troop to recapture their "homeland".

I am not too sure about that, though the game is already a bit of spin off, I believe the purpose is to make as close to story as possible, after all, that is part of the magic But of course, that doesn't mean it can't be done. And as far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't mind, as long as the "feel" of the game remained good. About the SoD island, I believe it was said by some NPC in a quest that it was built by people from Berk, however I can't remember precisely so I might be wrong. Could anyone help?
