Hi, I just became a member and like I've seen in many other games that have membership, they have recurring membership. I just wanted to know if that happened in this game.

I took a look around the School of Dragons homepage and from what I can see it seems to me that whichever deal you go for (monthly, three months, sixth months or yearly) will be renewed until you cancel it, effectively making it recurring.
Even if the membership isn't recurring though, buying a 12-month membership would be the same as a (cheaper) recurring monthly membership over 12 months.

Thus, you will only be charged once for the 1-month membership, 3 times for the 3-month membership, 6 times for the 6-month membership, and 12 times for the 12-month membership. Hope this helps! |

So my kids got a one month membership to try it out. They liked it. The month is up. They want to continue it. So I went to renew their membership and... I can't. They are already members.
Reading the FAQ as well as this thread it seems I have to cancel both of their memberships, then purchase new memberships.
Of course the only way to cancel is to email support, or call support. There is no on-line way to manage this myself.
Doesn't this seem overly cumbersome?

Paid for the 3-month membership on Friday, 26 July, it cleared my bank account for Kai*Jumpstart on Monday, 29 July for $24.95. Got the 500 gems on the 26th, and the discounted prices in the store, although I've never been able to warp between areas. ( cleared unity cache, cleared browser cache, restarted browser, restarted computer, etc etc) The warping isn't a terribly big deal since Old Lace learned to fly. *shrugs* Was currently waiting to see what day the gems would renew, either the 26th or the 29th, but now I'm worried that I'll get another charge for $24.95. @_@ |

I've sent in a support ticket email and it's been a week with no response. I do not want a reoccurring membership and there's no way to tell if my sub is cancelled or not. :<

Hi, everyone. I apologize for the confusion about membership. My explanation wasn't expressed clearly so I want to restate how membership works to clear things up. First a few notes: Membership is recurring so your membership will automatically renew once the term you paid for comes to an end. You will be charged on the same date you subscribed, so if you buy membership on January 1st, you will be charged on the 1st of each month according to your subscription. Finally, your monthly allowance of gems will be awarded to you on the date of your subscription. To break it down, membership looks like this:
Monthly - Your subscription will renew each month on the same date. For example, if you bought membership on January 1st, your monthly membership would renew on February 1st, then March 1st, and so on. Since this is a monthly subscription, you will be charged on each of these dates.
3 months - A 3 month subscription will renew every 3 months. Thus, your membership will persist for 3 months and then automatically renew after your 3 months are over. You will only be charged once every 3 months.
6 months - A 6 month subscription will occur every 6 months. You will have membership for 6 months and will not be charged again for membership until your 6 months have expired. After your 6 months are up, your new 6 month membership will renew.
12 months - A 12 month membership will only charge once a year. After a year of membership, your subscription will renew on the same date you bought your subscription the previous year.
