I was rearranging my farm in build mode yesterday and hit some sort of snag while trying to relocate my soil squares. The builder wouldn't let me place them back onto the grid after digging them up. That has happened to me once before but I was able to resolve it by exiting out of build mode then reopening it. However, when I clicked the back button this time, my well disappeared off the grid. I tried re-entering my farm, logging off, switching characters (my other characters still have their wells), and waiting overnight. Still no well.
When I tried planting a seed, I got the error message that I didn't have enough water. So it's not just the graphic that's missing, it's the whole well. Everything else on the farm seems to be working fine.
Anyone else seen this issue?
Anyone have a fix or workaround? Thanks.

I'm terribly sorry for the delayed response but thanks for bumping the post so I could find it quickly. Could you please tell me your browser, computer, and operating system? Has the wall ever reappeared after leaving the farm, logging out, or restarting your computer? Have you tried changing browsers, and if so, did your well ever come back? Thank you. |

Thanks for getting back to me. No, the well has never reappeared for this character. The wells for my other two vikings are fine though. I haven't tried switching to a different browser, but I'll give it a shot and let you know what happens.
I'm running the game in Firefox 23.0.1 on Windows 7 Home Premium. Is there anything else you'd like to know about my system? Thanks again.

UPDATE: I logged into this character using both Explorer & Google Chrome (on different PCs) but the well is still missing.
What do you recommend?

UPDATE: Now the same thing has happened with another of my characters while I was moving my soil plots around. Here's what happened...
I moved my well to a new location. It was highlighted yellow after being moved so it shouldn't have been a problem.
Then I clicked on a soil plot to dig it up and when I clicked the shovel icon, my well disappeared along with the soil plot.
I logged out and back in to see if it would fix it but the well is still gone.
Help please!
