I bought a barn for my farm, and I have tried to reposition it, but while it works just fine as long as I'm on the farm, when I leave and come back, it's returned to its original position. I have tried it several times, with leaving both by closing the game and by merely exiting the zone.

I've been having it happen too. Apparently, there are other farm bugs that they're working on at the moment and will update soon.
