Hello all.
I thought that this would be a fun thing to do and show other vikings how your dragon really is, how it is different from other dragons of its species, and more! The things you must include: Dragon's name and gender. Your thoughts on first hatching. What you thought in general when having your dragon. His/her personality and traits. For extra fun, speak of it like you were actually there, example below.
I will start, and give a sort of example, and my story: You know, when I first heard that School of dragons had opened its doors, I rushed to the nearest boat to the school. When I arrived, I was told to enter the hatchery in order to begin classes. So when I did, the other vikings around told me about the different dragons and their personalities. I was asked to complete a personality test, and when I finished I got a Gronkle as my suggestion. The viking giving me the test, Gobber, said that it was just a suggestion. I entered the place with the eggs, it was... Epic! So many dragons, only one can be chosen. After walking around examining the eggs and thinking really long and hard, I walked towards the Deadly nadder nest. However, deep within my head, I could hear a tiny voice, calling me to pick one of the Gronkle eggs. I walked over to the Gronkle nest and picked up the egg that 'needed' me. I just stood there, wondering if I really should pick this egg... I couldn't wait anymore, I took the egg over to the hearth, tossed it in, and watched my new friend come out of its egg... She was a girl, with a beautiful blue and teal hide, I decided to name her Quakeflower. She was curious to see who I was, but didn't really care much and jumped into my arms soon after she hatched. I took her outside of the hatchery, and from there on, we began our journey. Throughout her life so far, she has thought of herself as an okay Gronkle, I think she is the best Gronkle I have ever met. She doesn't ignore me, she doesn't take kindly to others trying to hurt me. Most of the time, if someone shoots me, she will make me hop onto her back, and she will go after them. She seems to really care, thought she doesn't think of herself very highly. It seems that she is the fastest Gronkle in the land, or one of them. With her by my side, we can win any race. People think that Gronkles are lazy, stubborn, and not always obedient, me? I think they are wonderful dragons, good for anyone looking for a good friend and helper. Of course, all dragons have ups and downs, and everyone prefers a different one, but Quakeflower has to be the nicest Gronkle I have met.
Please, do not get mad at other people for making their dragons sound awesome, or saying that a certain one is better. Thanks for reading, and please reply and leave your dragon's story.

What a cute idea!! ^-^ I want to do one!!
I looked around Berk and heard Gobber calling: "Last call for the School of Dragons". I ran as fast as I could to try and get to the boat, but alas, I was too far away and it left without me. I called after it, pleading silently inside that someone would hear me and turn the boat around, but it was long gone. I started to walk off, when I ran into Gobber. "Looks like you just missed it. Go talk to Hiccup, he's heading there now and might be able to give ya a ride up!" I looked over at Hiccup. A scrawny little kid, but by the looks of him and his Night Fury, they had a special connection. I wanted that special connection with a dragon of my own. I walked up to him and introduced myself and told him my story. "Me and Toothless are heading over to the School of Dragons now! Why not come with us?" I hopped on Toothless's back as we headed off into the air. I felt free as we soared over the glistening waters. Soon, we arrived at the Dragon School and Hiccup instructed me to head over to the Hatchery. "They'll give you a personality test to see which dragon suits you the most. Then, you can choose your dragon, and start training!" I was so excited! I ran over to the Hatchery, daunted at first by the big entrance, but inside was a cozy and inviting, with lava flowing over the ground to make it feel home to the dragons. I walked up to Gobber and took the personality test, nervous at what I might get. The Deadly Nadder! Gobber said though you had gotten that in the test, only I could decide for myself which dragon I wanted. I walked inside the Hatchery and gazed at each one of the nests. I picked up a Deadly Nadder egg, but then stopped. Was this really the egg that I wanted? Bonded for life and no turning back? Yes, it was. I put the egg in the hearth and out came a dragon, green with a pink hide and spines. A beautiful girl dragon, who I adored. Bonded for life? Soaring through the sky? It was an obvious choice for the name I had to give her. Lifesky. And she was my dragon. More curious rather than adventurous, quiet but not silent, and bold and as brave as any other dragon, if not, more. She'd fly as far as I wanted, without even breaking a sweat. This was the dragon of my dreams. Not a hot-headed Nightmare, not a slow Gronkle, and not an argumentative Zippleback ether, but the loyal, beautiful Nadder.
Hope you guys liked my story~

Oh good show jolly good show :3
I was at my nice home happy cause i knew that it was the day he would have to go to the school everyone was talking about on his way to the docks he found Gobber The Belch was there and said "Oh hey little boy i see you're in a hurry ,but no fear your lucky this is the last boat i'll be there soon gonna make sure no one gets left behind, now go get em.". I quickly entered the boat and waited for my arrival to the opening of the school when we got there i walked out of the boat the first thing i wanted to do was go to the hatchery to get my new friend. As i walked over to the hatchery i took the test my suggestion was a Gronckle but i could decide something else i entered over to the gate there were a lot of eggs there Thunder Drums,Hideous Zipplebacks,Deadly Nadders and many more ,i walked over to the Monstrous Nightmare eggs and hold one for a second i liked Monstrous Nightmare for a dragon but something in my head told me i should pick the Gronckle instead.I brought back the Monstrous Nightmare egg back to where it was and walked over to the Gronckle eggs and picked one up i walked over to where the lava was and laid down the egg, i was a little excited to get a dragon for a friend then after i saw the cute crimson colored male baby Gonckle i felt happy i knew i had made the right choice. Now he's a nice grown Gronckle that likes to take nap and eat perch's, it's almost funny it felt like it was just yesterday he was just a baby Gronckle he grew up very fast.

Love the idea!
I got off the Night Fury named Toothless, thanking Hiccup for the ride to the school and the info. I was shaking from head to toe with excitement as I ran towards the Hatchery, where most of my friends had already taken the quest and picked their dragons. "What took you so long?" Gobber said as I walked up to him. "Sorry," I responded breathlessly. "I missed the boat to school and I had to ride with Hiccup. But, I'm here now, and ready to take the quiz!" Gobber nodded in understanding, and asked me a few questions. I answered them all truthfully, praying silently that it wasn't a dragon I didn't really want. "Deadly Nadder!" Gobber announced after I had finished. "Yes!" I whooped, glad that it wasn't a Gronkle or a Zippleback. "It's just a suggestion. You can pick any dragon you want, but be careful," Gobber warned. "Once you toss your egg into the fires, you and your dragon are bonded for life." I nodded and raced down towards where the last of the few Vikings were picking their eggs and hatching them. I stopped by the Monstrous Nightmare eggs, and pondered for a second. Maybe a Monstrous Nightmare was more my type? I reached for an egg, then stopped. They were too fiery, and I wanted a fast, intelligent dragon that fit my personality (they said that the Deadly Nadder was intelligent xD). I finally made my decision, and knelt down to pick up one of the Deadly Nadder eggs. I realized there were two left, one pink, and one blue (I actually have a sister who made an account and picked a pink Deadly Nadder). Deciding that I didn't really like pink as much as I liked blue, I lifted the egg up, then tossed it into the fire. A light blue Deadly Nadder emerged from the egg's remains, and chirped happily. I put my hand out, and it brightened. As the Deadly Nadder's head touched my hand, I knew this was my dragon, fast, intelligent, everything I wanted it to be. I decided to name it Tempest after I had gotten to know it, for its color and personality.
Tempest was my dragon, almost as fast as Toothless, and she had a lot of energy too. I loved to feel the wind rushing towards my face as I swooped over school on the back of my Deadly Nadder. Tempest seemed to be enjoying it too, letting out a white-hot fire blast into the air in excitement.
I snapped out of the daydream, and leaned against the hatchling. "We're gonna have a lot of adventures together," I murmured.

I love this idea--I'm joining in the fray!
For as long as I could remember, I've always held a fascination for the Monstrous Nightmare. Due to Berk's past rivalry with the dragons I was always forced to keep my affinity for the beasts a secret. Reading the Book of Dragons and watching the tournaments was the closest I could ever get. Well, let's be honest, there were the raids but I don't like to count nearly being burned or attacked. When Stoick announced the joining of us Vikings with the dragons I felt an extra-special joy in my heart. And when Hiccup came to tell me about the opening of the School of Dragons my heart could've leapt right out of my chest. The night before the school opened I was too excited to sleep. I managed to miss the boat to school but Hiccup was there to save me. That was the first time I had ever ridden a dragon. It was a magical feeling. Even now I can't find the words to accurately describe it. Hiccup knew how I felt and he even took the 'scenic route' for me. Still that ride ended too soon for me. After that, I joined the rest of my classmates at the Hatchery where we all chose our dragons. I'll admit that Fishlegs nearly sold me on the Gronckles. And the Deadly Nadders were such gorgeous creatures. Even the Hideous Zippleback has its own unique charm. But my true love remained with the Monstrous Nightmare. So I picked out the first egg that was within my reach. I was so eager to hatch it and raise it. I could barely wait for it to be born. When it was my turn, I dipped the egg into the pool of lava and watched the miracle unfold. The lava began to boil and bubble rapidly. Lava splashed about as the dragon moved within its egg. Soon the little dragon burst forth from its shell and rose out of the lava. Once the dragon's body had cooled from its lava bath I picked it up. Finally, finally I was holding the dragon of my dreams. An all black, baby girl Monstrous Nightmare whom I named Lil' Blackie. We're together now and I couldn't be any happier.

Sadly you didn't tell her personality. If anyone is interested, here is my opinions on the dragons: Gronkle: Awesome, anyone that doesn't at least like them I cannot begin to understand. Deadly Nadder: Awesome dragon, but chosen too often. Hideous Zippleback: Very cool, I may choose this as my other dragon. Monstrous Nightmare: Cool, but not my type. Thunder Drum: Awesome! Looks really cool! Whispering Death: Same as above.

Oh my, I wanna too! But since my first language is german and not english, please forgive me spelling and grammar mistakes!
I was living a bit outside of Berk, so I wasn't able to hear the news as soon as the others. I just managed to hear of it because I've seen this poster which told me about the School of Dragons. As fast as I could I ran to the docks, but of course, I came too late. The ship was sailing without me, and on it were dozens of excited Vikings, talking about dragons and the school. The only ones left behind was me, and Hiccup with Toothless. I looked for the ship for a while before turning around to ask Gobber if there will be another chance soon. Before I could do so a voice told "You know, not doing this for everyone, but I'm sure we could bring you to the school." I turned around to see that the Night Fury stood up and shook in excitement. "But only if you're not afraid of hights" the young Viking grinned. "Me? Of course not! And you're not kidding?!" I shouted so loud that Goober jerked a bit. The flight was great for sure. Toothless is even faster than I ever thought of! But sadly, because of that speed, we were at the school in no time. My first flight on a dragon was short, but great. While running to the Hatchery I was thanking Hiccup for thousand times. I even was at the school before the ship! So except for older students, I was the first at the hatchery. But which dragon I should choose? I made a personality test to make my choice... but a Gronkle? I looked to Meatlug. That big boned beast was sleeping again, and as Fishlegs saw me with this dubiously look on his dragon he tried to wake her up. "You know, gronkles are the most loyal dragons! And lovely, yes, they are!" he tried to give his dragon a better look. But I was sure I don't want a big boned beast. I went to Ruffnut and Tuffnut and their dragon. But as soon as I reached them, the dragon AND the twins started a heating fight. "I WANNA TELL HER ABOUT BIPPLEZACKS!" "IT'S ZIPPLEBACK YOU FOOL!" "RAAAWRRR!" "ROARRR!!!" and then I was sure: Not a Zippleback. Nope. I somewhat flead to Astrid and her Stormfly. "I see... you just don't like having a dragon with two different minds?" "I guess not at all, even if not every Zippleback is so... so... With itself in the dispute." "Well, a Nadder is the perfect choice for you then. You know, they're beautiful, loyal and always besides you!" I looked at Stormfly who was currently busy. She was picking some invisible dirt off of her scales. Then she shook her head and sniffed at me. "I'm not sure... do they get bigger?" Suddenly she roared and showed me her tail spines as she would shoot at me in every second. I squeeked and made some steps backwards. "I- I don't know what's up! Believe me, usually Nadders aren't so aggressive!" I said it's okay and that Iw ould think of it and went to the last Viking. Snotloud. I didn't like him, not just because right now he was showing me his muscles. Urgh... So I went to is dragon instead. Hookfang always fascinated me more than his companion. He was something I would really call a dragon! His eyes seemed to show no interest, but by looking right into them you could feel the light and the soul of a dragon. The huge teeth and horns were impressive, and as I reached a hand to put it gently on his snout I could feel the warmth of the fire inside of him. He sniffed a bit and still seemed to be relaxed. I now was sure: A Monstrous Nightmare it should be!
((rats, too long, that's it for now xD))

//I feel the need to start at the very start of the game sorry! It's gonna be a little long.
In the living daylight of Berk, on the docks of the ol' mighty viking boats, there stood a girl with her hands on her waist. "Ah, finally! My first day in the School of Dragons!" She beamed, but a scowl was followed by her excitement. "Shion! You aren't there yet! Now get goin' before the boat leaves you!" Yelled Gobber in annoyance. "Ah, y-yes, sir!" Shion stuttered and scrambled away from Gobber. She ran as fast as she could, making the wood creak loudly with her stumpy boots. "Ah! No, wait!" The lass hollered, reachnig her hand up towards the sailing boat, but to no avail it didn't seem to hear her or it just didn't want to go back for her. "Wow... my first day, and I'm late." Shion said in a frustrated tone. "See? I told you!" Gobber argued, shifting his head towards the sky as he heard the flap of wings get closer.
"Ah, Hiccup! Great timing!" Beamed Gobber. Hiccup got off from Toothless and walked towards the two with a puzzled expression. "What seems to be the problem?" The lad inquired. "Well, Shion here, got left by the boat going to the School of Dragons, maybe you could hitch her a ride?" Gobber requested. Without any complain, Hiccup smiled like he agreed on Gobber's request. "Sure! What do you say, bud? Wanna go?" He asked Toothless as the dragon nodded with a soft purr. "Come on, Shion!" Hiccup said, tapping on the satchel around Toothless. "Thanks! You're a life saver today!" Shion gratefully thanked the lad.
As they got into the school of dragons, Shion stare in awe as a diversity of dragons flew within the school premises. "Whoa..." Shion managed to say as Hiccup landed Toothless on the tower just by the rocky dock. "Beats the boat, don't you think?" Hiccup boasted with Shion nodding in excitement. "Now, go to the hatchery so you can finally get your dragon!" He added, also feeling excited for the new student. Shion ran again, her adrenaline rush filling up her veins with joy and excitement. She couldn't wait to get a dragon. Nadders were her favorite because they were just as adventurous as she was, although a little vain on their looks. As she got to the entrance of the hatchery, she took a deep breath, wished herself luck, and finally went in.
Shion saw Astrid, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, Tuffnut and Snotlout who were waiting by the entrance of the hatchery. They debated on which dragon should the girl get before encouraging her to get a dragon egg. "Don't worry, guys. I know what I want." Shion stated calmly, but deep inside she was panicking and fangirling.
Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! I'm gonna get a dragon, holy ****! I can't believe that this is happening in my life! I hope we get along well, oh my gosh, I'm so nervous. Can I just have the all kinds of dragons order? AHHHHHHH THIS IS PUTTING SO MUCH PRESSURE ON MEEEE!! BUT STILL, THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVERRR!!
"This is it. My best friend for life, is right in front of me, and it's one of these Nadder eggs. I gotta choose carefully." Said Shion, as she pointed a finger on the eggs. "Eenie, meenie, minie, moe, which Nadder egg do I choose? If it's this one, then I'll pick it." Her finger stopped as it was pointing to one Nadder egg. "It's you, little buddy. You're gonna be my best friend forever." Shion stated with a smile, picking up the heavy egg and carefully walking towards the lava pit. "Okay, here it goes!" The lass released the egg into the lava. A pedestal popped out from it, carrying her dragon egg. Within seconds, the egg cracked open on the top and a beautiful little Nadder popped its head out, trying to peer outside.
It had a shining turquoise color which appealed to the girl very quickly for it was her birthstone's color. It's horns were as white as ever, undilapidated and undamaged. As it opened its mouth, Shion saw a few teeth which were still growing out. Its eyes were as piercing as ever, but the lass found it adorable when it dilated its pupils into a bigger size.
"Aren't you the most adorable thing ev--" Shion's words were cut off as the little dragon screeched, making the egg fully crack. "Shh, easy there, little buddy. I'm not gonna hurt you, okay? Now just let me touch your head..." Shion shot her hand out to reach for the dragon's head, but just as she was about to touch it, the dragon dodged her. "H-hey! Come on!" She tried it again, but the little Nadder kept on avoiding her hand. "Come. On. Just. Let. Me. Touch. Your. Head! Aha!" Shion grabbed the dragon with both of her hands before she could touch the head. "This way, you won't be able to move freely!" She stated with a menacing laugh. The Nadder glared at her with its piercing eyes, and then... Boom! The little guy breathed fire in front of the girl's face, making her countenance as dark as coal. Shion didn't react, a poker face was written on her face. "Let's just thank the gods that you're not grown up yet. We'll work on your personality later." Shion said, coughing out a few smokes as she finally touched the dragon's head. The little Nadder let out a mischievous smile. "Hmm, what's your gender anyway?" She asked, lifting up the dragon to look under it. "Ooh, you're a boy. No wonder you're so mischievous." She shrugged. "From now on, you shall be named... Azazel." She added and the dragon didn't seem to mind the name. "Now let's get cleaned up, especially me. Man, you sure burnt my face good you little pop."
As the days passed with Shion and Azazel spending their time together in the School of Dragons, their bond towards each other grew closer as Azazel himself also grew, until he finally got big enough to fly. They would usually, on a daily basis, explore the school premises, and sometimes even in Berk. They both loved it whenever they'd find a new place to waste time, which was usually in high places. The duo loved flying for the view was beautiful and stunning, if there weren't any rules about wandering off too much, they probably would've explored the world by themselves.
Sometimes, they would still argue, specially in terms of food, but even though they would, Azazel's loyalty never wavered. Shion was Azazel's human, and Azazel was Shion's dragon.
As of now, Shion and Azazel are currently spending their time in the School of Dragons, bonding with other dragon trainers and their dragons and waiting for new adventures to come their way.
//Welp, that's it. Sorry for the long post!
