Since I joined the site I've had this same issue: I can't catch fish. I have no idea why. It has nothing to do with lag or my own skill. I can spend some 25 minutes trying to reel in a fish of any species and it never comes any closer. I had to have a friend log on from their computer to get the fish for me since I was unable to. This same friend tried fishing on my computer and agreed that it wasn't possible. Just recently my friend has encountered the same problem with fishing and no longer can. Please help??

This has already been discussed several times and has been reported to the Administrator. They are working on it now to get it fixed When the fish freeze, is the whole game running slowly, or is it just when fishing?

It doesn't appear to be running slow at all...everything around me has little to no lag, my fishing pole has no lag and the reel bar doesn't have lag...so i don't know...

This happened to me too, but it was gone when the first update came out. It's most likely a glitch that the Dragon Team needs to solve, but I'm sure they'll figure out everything soon.

That is pretty peculiar, Feeryar! As Lifesky mentioned, we are woking on getting a few of these issues ironed out for those still experiencing issues with fishing. In the meantime, could you try clearing your web browser cache to assure that this is not a simple loading issue? Sometimes when your cache is storing too much information it can cause small loading errors like this around the game. If the fish are still not moving after you try this, please let us know. Thanks!

So I tried what you suggested, and I also tried using another browser. Neither seemed to work, although if I spend five or six hours trying to fish (I was VERY determined to pass my quest today) it will VERY rarely to never spontaneously give me a fish before I even cast my pole. This has happened twice so far in the game and is very odd.

We will send this back to our production team to look into further, immediately. I will send you back an update on the status of this bug. Mind if I ask what browser you were using?
