I'm not exactly sure if I count as a new player anymore, but there doesn't seem to be a general questions forum, so I thought I'd ask here.
Does anyone know the regen rate for water in the well in farming? I've come to realise that water doesn't regenerate when not in the game (which is weird, as you'd think it'd go up while you're sleeping and not using the water, but apparently not!), so I'm sitting around waiting for the water to go up before planting more crops. It just seems to take so long, and there's no timer saying how long until the next one, so I was just wondering how long it takes.
It'd help to know to calculate which plant is better in terms of time and value, as well, but that's just bonus information.
So, does anyone know and can you please tell me?

I would like to know the rate too. It's not that good to wait, but not knowing when the water number goes up...

Well, I just used my water all up and timed how long it took to regenerate. It took 40 minutes, for 16 water, so about 2.5 minutes per water. I'm pretty sure.

The time to regen water is about the same as the rate for crops to grow. I've tried Dragon Nip and Corn so far, seems to take about 4 or 5 minutes. If I plant 5 plots of corn, at 2 waters each, I use up my 10 waters and my well is dry. While I'm waiting for the crops to grow, I go fishing at the pond on the farm. A great way to spend some time, cause you can get fish for job board quests. Plus, remember to shear your sheep for the White Fluff job - 3 wool gets you 95 gold coins, I believe.
