Problem completing mission and Missing Quest Arrow

I'm having problems completing the Dwindling Flames mission.  I've collected all the items but when I go to the Lab and speak to the Alchemist to choose a hypothesis, she asks if I want to start a new experiment but then I don't get any options to choose from.  I just end up standing in from of her and the Lab.

Also, my quest arrow keeps disappearing - sometimes its there and sometimes its not so I don't know which direction to go to look for things.

Can you look at this and let me know how to overcome this glitch?

I'm using Chrome and Windows 7.

Hi Greenie. We recently released a fix for the Alchemist so you should be able to progress through the quests now. As for the quest arrow disappearing, has this issue been fixed? If not, we'll make sure to keep looking into it. Thank you.
