It seems that recently there is a glitch with fishing. Once you catch a fish (Perch) you can reel and the line or fish stays in the same location. Is there a update going on for the unity engine or what. I use to land almost all my perch and trout with out problems just by playing them but when your reel does not reel them in at times it makes fishing costly and frustrating. No longer fun or relaxing. Can any one advise?

I'm having the same problem. Hopefully it gets fixed because the cost for the bait is running me dry; almost have no more coins left and far ming is not helping enough.

I started having the exact same problem as soon as I bought the improved rod. The fish that bite my bait never get any closer no matter what breed it is or how long I've been reeling it in. It's really frustrating. I wouldn't fish until the problem is fixed.
You should use the White Fluff request on the job board to get your coins up a little, and then once you have enough coins to buy 3 bags of pumpkin seeds you should do the Delicious and Orange request. You make the most profit on that one. If you aren't at a high enough farming level, buy 3 bags of sunflower seeds to do the Happy as Can Be request. You can repeat all of these requests as many times as you like.

Hey darling pet if you have a sheep a goat and turn in dragonnip sunflowers and corn. you should be able to be fine if you do it long enough.

having trouble with fishing still tho, not with fresh water fish, but with salt water. they wont come in. and also, arent we supposed to level up with fishing? it seems now matter how often I fish, I dont go up with the level. Just how long is level one supposed to be even with the bar full?

Yes. but its only at the school, at berk the ocean fishing is kinda okay, normal fishie floppy hassles. but at the school they wont reel in, some times the bobber and the fish dont even show up and i waste so much bait .I use Google , windows vista home premium, on a toshiba. please help. |

I'm having trouble fishing also and I've only had my profile for like a week. It's the same issue described by everyone else except it doesn't make a difference where I'm fishing. I've lost 20 pieces of bait had to use some of my gems to buy fish for my dragon. I'm using Windows 7, Firefox (I've also used Internet Explorer), and my computer is an HP.
Update: the fishing does work for me in Berk but not at the school or wilderness.
