I think farming prices should be altered. Theres no money to be made in farming, if the job board only gives us about 100-200 coins for each job, we aren't making any money. I'd have to spend 500 dollars total for a sheep and it's pen, and the job board only pace me 135 coins for a sheep wool. It's not worth losing 500 dollars( all I have) to only get 135 coins.. I'd rather not farm, I can barely feed my dragon. Prices of the animals should be cheaper because the job board doesn't pay enough to make a profit at all. You also have to feed the chickens and sheep, and its just way to expensive. I dont even understand the point of dragon nip, I was in play mode and I gave it to my dragon and it did nothing. What Prices Should be: Animals: chicken= 8 coins sheep= 15 coins
sheep feed= 5 coins
chicken feed=3 coins
Seeds:
dragon nip= 4 coins
cabbage seeds= 6 coins
corn seeds= 9 coins
pumpkin seeds= 14 coins
sunflower seeds= 16 coins
I hope the prices go down, thanks for your consideration. I really hope something is done about this.(and please put the bait prices back down to 3 coins). Thanks for reading!

What are you talking about? I've made a ton of money in farming. As a matter of fact, it's currently the ONLY reliable way to make money unless you love standing around for two hours to get dragon energy. You get a sheep pen AND a sheep for free and it's not like you have to buy the pen each and every time. So start running wool until you have enough to buy another sheep. Your goal here is 5. That way you can make a profit of 35 gold every 15 minutes. Sunflowers are even better with a profit of 75 every turn in. I've been doing nothing but running wool and sunflower quests and I have a nice sum of 800 gold to my name from the 2 I had yesterday.
It's really difficult and takes a while but at least it's not negative money like fish quests, questing and to a lesser extent dragon racing currently is. I'm really proud of my two little flowers that I've managed to get.
I will say that chickens seem really unprofitable. 32 coins for one feed. One chicken lays 3 eggs so you need 7 of those to make a turn in of 20. You need 224 coins just to feed the darn things for one turn in. Anyone know how much it pays out? My game won't tell me. -_-

You basically lose all the money you have and earn a little bit. And you still have to pay to feed the sheep... And its 75 coins every turn in, but its not just one sunflower, its like 30 or soemthing.. there is no way to make a profit to me, i just dont see it.

Have you reached level 5 or higher? That when you get your free sheep and sheep pen. Once you have that it's a little easier to make some money. I'm not saying it's actually easy but easier. And of course, like anything in life, it takes time. Not everything is ready as fast as Dragon nip; you may need to wait a few dozen minutes or a few hours.

When you enter your farm, you automatically get a free sheep pen, and a sheep in the tutorial. Then you just keep feeding it. The wool quest gives you more than what it costs to actually feed your sheep. Plus, as he already said, the sunflower (and other plants quest) as well as fishing in your farm. The fish keep you going. It is confusing how you make profit but it IS possible. I have already made 200 gold (after mistakenly losing 600 xD) but just keep collecting wool from the sheep for the quest as well as plants and you'll be fine. Plus, when you fish, keep the brown trout for your dragon. It'll give him energy in thunder run. You DO make profit in farming. Although you have to spend first before you can gain.

Farming prices are already being complained about in the thread "Farm your own Worms" - though that's mostly about the high cost of fishing. My farm is running successfully now - when you start out it's very hard - do NOT get animals right away. Do agricultural stuff until you unlock the cabbage and pumpkins (and can unlock more farm plots). The cabbage and pumpkins give you forty to seventy gold in profit. I'm level 16 with three sheep and three chickens - things are starting to roll now. Get you dragon's energy up to full and then do not play with it - the only profit is in farming anymore (doing firepits takes too long). Also, you have to make sure you have enough money to make any. What I mean is you have to have enough money to buy all the materials to deliver the right amount of stuff. Fishing has no profit - you lose money on every delivery. Fish only to feed your dragon (unless the rewards have been increased enough to pay for costs of fishing).

Nah, you don't complain too much; that's why we are all writing in this forum, to voice our opinion or issues and get help. And maybe even help the creators in improving the game to be the best it can be (since it's already great )

Thanks you guys! Love the comments and I have found very helpful!!! Also, from what I'm seeing, buy only white sheep. I make the mistake and bought a black one and it isn't on the board. So now I've collected 17 bundles of black wool and have no where to give it. Any suggestions? Again thanks a lot.

Um...I don't think it matters whether the wool you give the board is white or black.

It does Puccih hh the third. The board asked only once for the black wool.

Currently, black sheep is useless as well as brown chickens (unless brown chickens give white eggs) but either way DON'T buy black sheep.....yet. There is no feature or job that they are applicable to yet so stay away from them for now

Also I think that it should be stated how many plants we are buying in a bundle. I'm sorta confused. Has anyone counted?
