Earning gems?

Hi, I just wanted to ask if we'll ever get to earn gems in the game?

Some Vikings asked this as well, and the Admin told us that they'll think about it! I'm sure that there will be a way to earn some gems. Of course, not too many, since gems are something special in the game.

But gems are not important for the progress in the game. They just give you a little bit more fun

As of right now, gems are only for purchase. However, as we further develop the game there may be new ways to earn gems and other credits in-game. Stay tuned!

Hi Dragonfan, we love to hear the suggestions of what you Vikings have, to make the game a better experience for you. We are definitely considering the best options for future quests and will take this into consideration.

That would be very good if we could earn a few gems here and there. I don't have anymore quests and my rod in too weak to fish ANYTHING. I would be fun to be able to get little extras once in a while, just to keep non-members interested. Or else, there's nothing more we can do if we can't pay...

Hi, may I say a little thing?

Of course, we all are glad that you guys gave us such a wonderful and funny game with a great community. And it's understandable that you - the team and developers - want to make some money with it.
But for me and many other players - since those are mostly teenagers or kids - it is hard to purchase Gems. I was lucky enough to had the chance to buy the best fishing rod for Gold, but now everyone has to pay gems for a thing that seems to be necessary if you don't want to need an hour to reel ONE fish in.
And if I look in the store, I see nothing but Gems. Sometimes a shirt is for Gold, but that's mostly it.

I don't want to sound rude or anything, this game is still in the Beta! But for us players - and especially for the younger ones - it would be a great improvement to see some great and amazing things sold for Gold! I hope to see some items for Gold in the future

Especially some fishing rods. It is even hard to catch a Halibut with the best rod (well, for me, it took longer than it did before for the first update), so I even can't imagine how long it takes to catch a fish with the first one. :/
