Stoick Quest Completion Problem

I am trying to do the "Batten Down the Hatches" quest from Stoick on Berk. I have reached the point in the quest where he wants 6 wood from the Wilderness. I have 6 wood, but he won't take them. The symbols over his head are gone.

Any ideas?

Running Firefox 22.0 via Windows 7 on a Sony Vaio laptop


EDIT: Add "Botany 101" to the list of non-completable quests. When I go to get the toothache plant for Snotlout, the quest arrow disappears. I found the plant anyways and went back to the hatchery where I'd received the quest, but he no longer has any symbol over his head and won't even talk to me with a canned catchphrase. The game had gone real laggy around then, so I logged out, came back on, and went back to the quest. I was able to pick up a second toothache plant (for the cost of another energy) but Snotlout still doesn't respond. In addition, now whenever I open my backpack and try to look in the Treasures section it freezes my entire browser, forcing me to do a ctrl/alt/dlt on firefox.

EDIT2: Add "Shiny New Trophies" to the list too. Again, no arrow. When I was given the quest, I never actually got a dialogue box while speaking to the Alchemist - I had to check my journal to find out what I was supposed to do. I still collected all the metals from the various people and when I had the last one, I was told to return to the Alchemist to form my hypothesis. But when I got back to the Alchemist, she no longer had any symbol over her head and just repeats "This is your next task" over and over again. My journal says the next step is to talk to her, though. I've logged in and out a few times and cleared my cache, but no joy :/

EDIT3: Add fishing glitch to the list. I can fish on my farm, in the Wilderness, and on Berk, but when I try to fish in the School I have the 'frozen bobber' problem. I reel and reel and the bobber/fish never get any closer until eventually I lose my bait. I had this glitch in the school pond, at the fishing spot on the sea beach to the left of the school, and on the sea beach on the other side as well.

No improvement on previously mentioned glitches with quests. Still running Firefox on Windows 7, on a Sony Vaio VFCCW27FX laptop

Hi karyon. Thanks for your reports and updates. We'll look into the issue with Stoick although we recently fixed the Botany 101 and Alchemist issues. Please let us know if those work for you. We made a fix for the frozen bobber in our newest update, so it's interesting that you ran into that issue. We'll investigate more and let you know of any updates!

I seem to have the frozen bobber as well, out of 21 bait I acquired two fish a salmon and a perch. I do not know if that is because the game is laggy or not.
