I noticed that the fishing lures now cost eight gold instead of three - personally I find that a bit outrageous! Especially since none of the fishing jobs even pay the cost of catching ten fish now. I suggest that we be able to raise our own worms so that it doesn't cost so much to feed our dragons. This is going to be a big problem for people who aren't able to afford improved rods yet either - one can't afford to lose eight gold for a fish because it got away with your bait or your line broke. So, I suggest we farm our own worms - or the price for lugworms are reduced back to three gold. Even then it wasn't cheap to fish.

They're too expensive, you can't earn money with Fishing Quest AT ALL! Everything is so expensive, the only way to make a LITTLE BIT of Gold Win is a Thunder Run Race - but even then you have to feed your dragon, and for that, you need bait! It's so hard to make money, really! I can barely buy some Baits, so my dragon won't starve!

oh man i haven't logged on yet and now i am dreading it
eight gold for one worm??? seriously??
now it's impossible to make a profit out of fishing quests. it was difficult before, but now...
in response to this, they should at LEAST increase gold rewards from quests and racing so that there is a more balanced economy.

I also agree that the price is a bit exagerrated, i mean, seriously, worms. They should be, like, everywhere! In the soil of our farms for example. And I don't really see the reason for rising the price for worms now that so much stuff was added and we have what to spend our money on..
Now by doing missions you actually loose more than you win, and i don't think that's the point of the game. Before, the cost for 10 baits was 30, and one eventually got 50g for 10 salmons, so basically, a 20 gold earning... but not anymore

I didn't even mention the exorbitant price for animal feed in the farms. One bag of sheep feed only lasts one time - and it costs twenty gold! They should last multiple feeding times. Chicken feed is even more expensive. The only way I'm making any money is by planting and selling sunflowers (you actually make 45 gold on those). Still, even that profit - with the time it takes for the well to fill up - is not enough to keep a successful farm going. You could have nothing but plants and be able to feed your dragon, but the quests require eggs, etc. That...and I don't think chickens should cost as much as sheep. You should be able to buy five of them for that price.

I agree, 8 gold for one worm is insane. Farming our own worms is a great idea! Also about the price of the feed and animals. Everything in the farming area is so expensive, and the plants the we farm should have the option of harvesting seeds from them. Why should we have to keep buying seeds when we have plants with perfectly good seeds in our packs?

I agree with this post. From thunder run racing you get 18 gold profit. and I'm a lv 15 dragon which means I need one more trout than before. so 5 trout to fully replenish my dragons energy. 5*8=40g. So for me I only profit 10g -_-
We got a ton of stuff to spend gold on and NOW they up the prices? They just unbalanced the economy a bit because now we have to spend gold not only on bait but a ton of farming supplies as well.
Plus the fact I only had about 3k gold (now around 2.2k because of farm) so now its much harder to obtain gold.
Please lower the price or implement another way of making gold (already said this in updates thread) This way the economy will be more balanced.

worms have to be bought CONSTANTLY. they aren't a one time buy. they should be one gold each, in my opinion. fishing is not optional, so price shouldn't be that expensive.
now i'm poor in real life AND in game.

I have to agree that the economy is a bit unbalanced, mostly because the bait is way too expensive now. For example, I would have to spend 80 gold on bait just to have a "chance" of catching 10 perch to get 50 gold. That's just silly. Even if I never fed my dragon (so sad) and bought a lot of bait, I would probably be spending hundreds and still barely break even if that. At least with farming you can guarantee some profit, even if it takes a while.
I only just started playing so I don't have a lot of gold as it is. I think I just lost most of it on the quest to collect fish for wolves.
I think the cost of bait should go down some or have some way to farm them yourself. Also the gold reward for quests that require you to spend money, i.e. "Wolves" or "Botany 101" should give more gold as a reward for finishing them. You're essentially spending a lot of gold for only a little experience on those.
Just my thoughts. ^__^ I know balancing an economy in a game is probably challenging.

it's really not that challenging. just lower the prices and increase the quest rewards.
also, update: i started with 240 gold and now i am at 93 gold.
farming is a nuisance now.

I'm surprised because I was thinking this same idea o.o
Anyway, this means I agree. 8 gold for worms is very expensive and takes a HUGE toll on people. It's all sort of a circle that now is loosing a side to it. People want to farm, so they buy seeds and stuff. They go on a quest and get less than half the gold they actually spent. Soon, as they run out of money and must play Thunder Run Racing to actually get more gold. But now, it cost 22 energy to race just one race, and so maximum, you get 50 gold out of two races. So, you need more energy, so you have to go fish. Soon, you run out of worms and don't have any gold to buy more. This is where people will get stuck. I started with a bit over 1000 gold, and now I'm down to almost 600 gold.
A circle that looses a side isn't exactly a circle anymore, and soon, people will hit a dead end.

:'(8 gold for one worm is crazy, I buy three and its already 24 dollars..... gold is really hard to get, and I cant fully fill my energy bar on my dragon anymore, I lose all my money trying to fish, and half the time the line snaps, if you could consider putting the bait prices back to 3 gold, I'd be better for everyone, its making my gaming experience way to much of a toll, and harder to work with. Thanks for the consideration.

I agree, I am losing all my money, My dragon never has energy, and even if we had to grow our own worms, we'd have to spend gems to speed up the process, thats how everything in the farm works, they just need to reduce the price back down to three gold, 8 gold for one worm is outragous, Im very disappointed at this point to tell you the truth.

I agree with everyone here. The price for the worms is outrageous! I can understand that the programmers would want us to work to earn gold but some of these prices aren't worth it. I barely broke even when I traded the dragon nip at the job board. To me, it seems that all of these new prices are over-inflated.

I barely broke even when I traded the dragon nip at the job board. To me, it seems that all of these new prices are over-inflated. :(Everything is out of porportion, I was at the job board, and I just reached level 3 farmer, and I was gonna buy a sheep... but Id have to spend 500 just to get the sheep pen and the sheep... but the job board only pays you 135 coins to deliver the sheep wool, now I sat there and thought... spend all the money I have(500 coins)... and get 135 coins to end up with. Farming isnt worth it... I was super excited to grow things.. but 600 coins for a chicken.... and 400 coins for a sheep... is just to much. I keep getting super frustrated trying to keep my dragons energy from going to 0... It's just to much work to feed your dragon... It was great when it was only three coins... but now everytime my line snaps... its just 8 coins down the drain...... = frustrating times. I hope they fix this is all I can say, thanks for the consideration.
