Hi there Vikings and Admins!
I noticed something which is really sad for me.
The current Coin Balance.
I noticed that It's really hard to gain Coins. If I mean hard, really HARD!
If you accept a fishing Quest in Berk or your Farm, the biggest reward is 75 Coins. But to buy 10 Baits, you'll now have to pay 80 Coins. You make a loss of 5 Coins! No way to make some win here.
I'm not sure about the Farming Quests, but Animals and Pens and Food are really expensive.
Also, the new Quests. For the huge "Wolf Quest" (Where you have to catch 3 Brown Trout, 5 Perches and 3 Salmons) I just got 10 Coins. But these are 12 baits IF you catch no other fishes (It took me 25 Baits because of random other fishes), That are 96 Gold! I lost 86 Gold/Coins there.
the only way to make SOME Gold is Thunder Run Racing. You get 25 Gold if you do good in Single Player. These are 50 Gold for two races, then your dragon is too hungry, and you need to feed him 5 or more fishes. If you feed him 5 fishes you need at least 5 Baits, if you do good in fishing. 5 Baits are already 40 Coins again, so you only get 10 Coins! The same for Fire Frenzy and Flight Club.
Firing the Pits in Berk or the School only brings you 5 Coins. You need to spent hours before you could buy something neat, like a sheep or a new Shirt.
For me, it is kinda frustrating. I must fire thousand pits now so I can buy Baits to fish, so my dragon won't starve till he's unable to fly or do races.
Or maybe I'm to dumb to make Coins? Any tips, probably...?

Nope. I'm having the same issue as you. I suddenly went from being okay to having only 2 coins to my name.
Fishing is a loss. The new quests are an incredible loss.
I hope I haven't screwed up my game because right now there's no way to even play!

The rings in the races gives you a little speed boost! But missing one could change a whole race between you and other vikings!  |

I'm sorry for my little rant there, and I don't say the game isn't great! It's just this problem up there, and it would be more fun if we were able to buy the things for - as an example - the farm. I don't say that I don't want to work for my money. But it's too hard at the moment. But I'm sure the wonderful team will find a solution. Holding the Balance between earning money and the shop prizes must be really hard. I can imagine, I did something like this once as well, and suddenly we had rich players on our server everywhere. Please take your time! I know, it is kinda frustrating for us players, but we also don't want you guys to rush! |
