The Annoying Dragon Color Glitch.

My apologies if this is not the place for this topic or if someone has already posted about it. If they have, I couldn't find it.


I am a relatively new player, having only joined say a week or so ago. I haven't had any issues with anything, I've seen others having avatar glitches but I never had one myself.

I got a Monstrous Nightmare dragon and colored him as all black as I could manage. I log in today, first time in several days, and low and behold my gorgeous black Nightmare looks like a regular red-rust-colored one. Also, I noticed a great many more regular colored dragons running about when I used to see a lot of custom colors. There's still a few custom color dragons visible though, so it's hard to tell exactly what is going on here.


I just figured I would post about this and bring it to attention if it hasn't already been done. Again, Sorry if it's been mentioned before or this is the wrong spot.

So it's not just me seeing it... Interesting. I wish some staff would talk to us about this. And I hope they plan to reset our dragons back to their colors once it's fixed.

I don't think it's only us though, every other player I've seen in SoD has the same coloured Nadder, the same coloures Zippleback, the same coloured Gronckle etc. It's probably a bug or something that came with the new update.

Ah, for godhet skyld ... So, maybe if we just wait it out they'll all go back to normal with the next update, I suppose. I hope.


( "For Godhet Skyld" is Norwegian for "For Goodness' Sake." I dunno, I just felt like it fit here. )

Heads up, on another thread about this a staff member said that they put in a new patch and so far it seems the dragons are fixed.  Here's The Thread.

Yup seems like it's fixed.
Oh, btw "for godhet skyld" is the direct translation which translates back to english as "for kindness fault". There's not really a right way to translate "for goodness' sake" to Norwegian because we never use that saying. The closest would probably be "herregud da".

Ah. Well, I haven't gotten to learn very much Norwegian yet. xD; I know a TINY bit, but nothing very functional. I've tried to teach myself but I never have much time to myself for anything but a couple things. I couldn't tell. xD; Thanks. I tried my best with an online translator. So, in reality, it was the one who was wrong. (Because of it being hard to translate.)
