(first of all, sorry for my 100-suggestions-a-day issue.)
i was watching my nadder walking today and i thought that the needles on the tails seem to be a bit... much. the nadders in httyd/rob don't have the needles on their tails unless they are defensive.
i also find it strange that a nadder's needles are always shown but nightmares aren't on fire. they're both defense tactics, why do we have one and not the other?
i am in no way encouraging setting nightmares on fire (imagine the extra time for animation and the fps!) but actually fixing the nadder tails so that they're flat. they'd look a lot less bulky, too.

What about the option to have them out or go in? I personally like the tail spines out, but I see your point, but since it is a defensive skill, we should have the option to have the needles/spines out or not thanks for the consideration

Just because the other dragons dont have something to display doesnt mean they cant have a cool ability to use along with it, if you know what I mean it still would be cool to have that option anyway though.

Awesome idea! Yeah, Gronckles should be able to eat rocks around the school, and the Zippleback should be able to mask itself in the gas - or even confuse the entire area by smoking everybody out! And the nadders also should be able to shoot their spines.

Check out my thread: 'What About Abilities?' if you want to discus special abilities like Nadder's shooting spines and stuff.
