Hey everyone, I just started playing yesterday but I can't really continue at this point. Browser-based 3D games really choke my computer and I lag so much that it's to the point where my screen freezes every few minutes.
If this game had a downloadable .exe version, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for me. I can play other games (like world of warcraft) just fine, it's just that a browser's plugins start bogging down my poor old computer.
I dunno if anyone else plays on an older machine like I do, but I'm sure many people would appreciate an executable version of the game itself outside of a browser.

i was thinking the EXACT same thing the other day.
my only questions would be would this effect any other players? will patches be frequent? is it just easier for the team to develop a game on a browser rather than a download?
i'm hoping that maybe the mobile app will be more ideal than the browser.

Does anyone think about the mac clients? Thats probably why they went with a browser base game, everyone can play it not just pc gamers. If you are experiencing lag, try upgrading your software, that worked for me and my mac. P.s. If you have an old comp. its not SoD fault, you could have a better processor and then the game would work fine.  |

If they did do a downloadable version for pc... they should do one for mac clients as well if they went to that option somewhere along the road |

Alice, I'm by no means saying they shouldn't do a Mac version as well! Sorry if it came off that way. I'm a derp and forgot to include that. But yes, I believe they should really make it an executable for PC and Mac, to help those without access to newer machines.
I was really eager to play this game and pay for a subscription, but I just can't justify it if I can't actually move without my screen freezing, ya see my problem? I'm not the only one out there, either.
