I'm at the part of the game where I just learned to glide, and need to glide to the landing platform in order to glide to the cave to rescue the trapped viking. Except I can't get to the landing platform. I always got A's in gliding practice at the Flight Club, but for some reason no matter what I try it will not allow me to glide to the landing platform. I press the space bar twice and press up to glide longer, just like in training. I've also tried running start and starting from different areas on the highest point. I've spent the past three hours trying to get to the top of the landing platform to get to the cave, and it just won't allow me to. Also, when I try to fish, I often spend ten or twenty minutes trying to reel in one fish and it never comes any closer. Help?? I'm going out of my mind!

Your dragon may be low on happiness or low on energy. The more energy and happiness he or she has, the faster and farther it can glide or fly. With fishing, you want to be sure to wait till the arrow is too the left of the bar before reeling in, if it goes too far to the right (or in the red) your line might snap. You can also look into getting a better rod, it makes it way easier! That is what i did!

Your fellow Viking, Dragonsmith, has provided you with some great tips. Give that a try and let us know if you have any other issues progressing through this area of the game. We'd be happy to help!

dragonsmith told you the basics of fishing already, but taking 10 to 20 minutes is a bit long for fishing. This happened to me before and was discussed a bit here. Was this sort of the situation that you had? If so, then if you could give us a bit more detail on what happens, that would be great! Hope I helped a bit!
