Promo code problem

Ok, I'm just wondering; when do the promo codes expire?

I just bought my DVDs today and tried activating my codes but it said that they may have expired. I don't understand because these DVDs have only been available for 2 week where I am. You can't tell me they are already expired. If they are, and were before they were available in store than there is a serious problem because we pay for this stuff.

Can someone help? Has anybody else had this problem?
