So i Had a funny bug a few day ago which allowed me to fly on my dragon to different places with a salmon floating above its head =)) (I posted some images in the Bug repport section) And this gave me some ideas:
- Wouldn't it be awesome if we could teach our Dragons to Fish? Or even Dive undewater for a few seconds (to catch fish, or for different quests).
- a Day/Night system based on the real life time (GMT hour)
- Weather: snow, wind, rain...
- Dangerous Weather, such as typhoons in certain points from which we should fly away or otherwise risk getting stuff lost from our backpacks... but to be able to find something valuable if we get past them safely.
- Adding blacksmithing/armoring/house-riding equipment building/sheepherding/gardening lessons
- An underground network of tunnels >3 I mean, we already have Whispering Deaths..
- More quests. A bigger Wilderness area to explore. Maybe some hidden places too, such as caves under waterfalls, and etc
So just these for now. What do you guys say?

I'd love to see weather and day/night I'm not so keen on losing items due to weather (what if I step away from my computer when a typhoon hits?), but I would love to see a snow storm or even rain!

Awesome! These would make the game much more interesting. Plus, if it would snow etc, there could be different jobs on the Berk board, such as melting or shoveling snow! Maybe we could even herd up escaped sheep!

Yeah.. Image that you have been fishing over an hour, with alot of salmon and than.. boom, typhoon. Byebye fish. ah, well, i ment only in certain spots, i mean, known spots (ex: a sunken ship like in the movie with its flagpole out of the water and some red attention sign like "beware of typhoons" so that you know when you enter the danger zone, or maaybe intensified wind for a while to also let you know that you are approaching a storm or whatever) and definetly located far on the sea, maybe between some of those huge cliffs, not on land :> And not always! Like, the chance of meeting one being 50-60% or something. But well, just an idea ps: Excusez mon anglais xD

i've always liked weather factors in games. reminds of my early WoW days when they added weather besides just day and night. -dreamy sigh- there could be footprints in the snow, puddles in the rain, etc.
also, i LOVE the blacksmithing idea! i think vikings could have some professions. maybe even leatherworking or tailoring for saddles and clothes. blacksmithing helms. i think that would be a lot of fun! but then comes the question of where would we get materials? perhaps mining spots? or a leather/thread shop? another issue would be money. we get money from playing games, sure, but i think it would be a great idea to have vendors that you can sell to, or you can trade with other players. (ex. one hundred gold for some leather wristbands)
of course, this could take some time to get out there. but i like it.

I am glad that my ideas appeal to some Now i think i'm starting to like the various bugs in the game: they can give birth to some interesting ideas For example, my dragon wouldn't stop shooting fire for about 4 minutes yesterday, god knows why the button blocked... and i was thinking - what if there were other outcomes of our Dragon's happines bar when it is low, say, under 10-20? Such as refusing to fly higher, or looking angry.
And what if there were special lessons we ought to do with our dragons in order to become best friends and to listen to us without being rebellious? Say, taming lessons. Without doing the base ones, our dragons might shoot fire at others once in a while without us ordering them to, or etc... And what was the name of those special herbs that dragons love to roll into, like toothless did in the movie? They would also be necessary to prevent rebelliousness in case the rider hasn't accomplished the lessons. And being able to unlock more ways of playing games. haha, dunno, maybe it's too complicated. I kind of compare it to real-life horse taming and riding

Oh my... the staff was actually planning to add dragon nip to make dragons happier oh, btw, now that you mention it, i think it might look too "WoW" or cheap (i mean, it's one of the base thing in rpgs, day/night thing) but dunno thankyou guys for responding!

of course, this could take some time to get out there. but i like it. These would be great additions that could do wonders to the game. As for where to get the materials, well, for the iron it would be rather simple, just place some rocks with iron ore that could be mined, much like logs. For the leather, well, there is a thread about yaks and by products, so it could be done by having yaks at the farm. The thread could be spun from wool.

Using iron nails and wooden planks made by ourselves with the new skills that will (let us hope so) be implemented. And should it be so, I will, and mark my words, hire you for the most exhaustive and thorough home repair in viking history. So you better live up to your title But seriously it would be cool to build and maintain/repair our own houses.
