Generic Viking Name/ Character Appearance

Hello 

Been playing for a few days now and it's been great fun. I've been having problems with game however. My ingame name is "Viking - *Random 8 digits here*" even though i had already set my name during the character creation phase. Secondly, for some reason whenever i try to create a Male character i always end up with a Female with white hair. I have tried recreating characters but all of them have the same outcome. My account has been fully activated and I've tried creating new accounts but none of this works.

Help would be great, thanks!

Hi there Asvald! I had the same problem like you (except for the Male-Viking-Thing, I choosed a female). I gave my character the name Acanthea, for sure, but it's now Viking-25551371. I already told this a staff, and they said that they'll look what they can do, since many Vikings seems to have these issues.

For the appearance problems: Have you tried to play a bit along? I know it's annoying, but I also played a bit with the white hair (it changed to green later xD) and now I look fine! I also changed the colors for many times, maybe trying the changing for several times could help? I'm not sure, I'm not a staff xD

I'm sure the developers will do EVERYTHING to make us happy and to fix the problems we have.

Well i've been playing for a while now, most of my sessions mainly consist of 1+ hours but still nothing has changed. But thanks for the reply, i guess i'll have to be patient.

We are currently looking into this, Asvald! However the more information we have on each player's experience with this feature, the easier it will be for us to better grasp the issue. After authorizing your account, and logging back in, were you never prompted to choose a name? There should be a window that pops up that allows you to set your Viking avatar's name. If you never saw this appear, please let us know. We'll be checking back with you when we get more information from our team. I know I haven't been asked, but I just wanted to point out that I actually was able to choose a name, what I definately did. I called my Viking Acanthea, just like here. But it turned out to Viking-2551371

Hi! I'm having the same problem =S I first built my character (named Kisas) but in the next phase it turned out that the specifications I choosed (hair color, eye color, etc) were not there but the name was. However, I rebuild my character using 50 gems (now with the name Kisa Yuitsu) and then again, the specifications weren't there but the name. So I decided to let it be and continue trough the game and then I got the surprise that I was able to change the looks of my avatar and that my name was changed to "viking-25558385" =(

I got the same problem, and no i wasn't prompted to create a username but the username box was there and by instinct i inserted my username, my account had been fully authorized but i'm not sure why i have the "Viking ********" name. (In reply to the admin)

Okay,my problem is not really about this but I have a problem and I can't find the place I posted my last message.
My Unity player can't launch.
I always played Jumpstart,Mathblaster and SuperSecret.
But now the only one that works is SuperSecret.
Jumpstart and Mathblaster give me the same error as School of Dragons.
They all give me this message:Unity player failed to launch.
When I click for more info,they say:Failed to start Unity player.
I've tried everything I know of,and I am eleven years old this year.
So do you think if I install the Unity player you used,I could play.
Could you just send me an email about what I should do or which player I should install?(number 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 or 8)

Calm down bro Try restarting your computer if you haven't already, and if that doesn't work, then uninstall and reinstall the program. That should fix it. If not, email the the Dragon Team. Also, I'd take your email off the website, just in case spam gets to it

Yep, never post your email online, spam bots will automatically detect it and send you ads and viruses. Edit your post and remove it ASAP.

Although...I don't think guests can edit posts, can they? The admin will have to deal with that I suppose.
