> I also thank you all for a Q&A session! > And I would like to ask: What have you planned for the game? Which features are planned? (If you don't want to answer because it's a secret, that's alright! really, it is ^^ ) Edit: Also, is it alright that, everytime I light every Lava Pit in Berk, I recive 50 Gold? I made some rounds and I somehow feel it's wrong to get so much Gold just for lighting some Lava Pits. Thanks for the heads up on the fire pits! We have big plans for the game coming up. We will bring in content from the next movies, a lot more additions to dragon flying, more customizations, community, and of course, we will be adding more dragons! I would LOVE to be able to ride the scouldragon <3 It's my absulutely favorite dragon from HTTYD. ^-^

>Since it seems like everyone took the day off today, I thought I'd assault OP with a plethora of questions. >Big Bad Question One: >Do you plan on adding anything to the wilderness? >Currently, the wilderness is very empty. Player wise and content wise. Maybe add some big bad mother truckers (Outlaws maybe? goblins? bambi?) walking around that you could give the 'ole 1-2 to level up your dragon skill and maybe put a bit of coin in the pocket? It seems like there are some survival aspects that seem a bit shoe horned in, can we expect more of them? I really like them and there is nothing better than being a professional dragon-riding boy scout. >Duke of disaster Question number two: Any chance of more islands? >Fans of the show will remember the young vikings constant obsession of messing around in Outcast island, home to Alvan the treacherous, any chance we'll be able to give some bad vikings a lesson or two in dragon battling? >Notable nefarious question number three: Any sort of House or dormitories? >A lot of MMO's (I hate to say it but "club penguin" for example *moans and groans from readers*) allow the player to pimp out a house with ingame as well as real life money (gems to get the good stuff). This is a god way of keeping players playing (Jeez louise! I really want that fantastic dragon leather ottoman! Better keep playing!)as well as putting some cash in the pocket of the devs (I know you guys need it and I'd shell some cash for a fantastic dragon leather ottoman!). >Originally named question four: Stance on upcoming DLC/updates! >As cooler and more amazing content comes out, can players expect free updates, or will they need to beat up their poor grandparents for money to keep playing? >final fantastic question four: Is "Admin" a collection of people and their consciousness or is there a single mind behind the steering wheel? >Secret question five: Can we get some more forum areas for specific stuff? Say "Admin's refrigerator", where people post their own magnificent "HTTYD" art they made, or "Bug reports" where there can be a template to fill out to file a bug report. Maybe even a suggestions area in case you want some of that kinda stuff. I hope you all lost as much time reading this as I did writing this! See you around! TL;DR: Lots of boring questions about things that people really want to know. Q1) Sure thing! We plan to add more to each area of the game, as well as brand new areas to explore. Everything you see now is just the tip of the ice-berg. These are all things on the plate for future releases. (Except maybe Bambi…) The more feedback we get from fans really helps steer where we decide to take things, and when. This is why we are so excited to connect with players through the forums and our various social media sites. We're on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube and have our own Official Blog! Q2) Of course! We will be expanding as time goes on along with the TV show and Movies. We can't give away everything we want to do up front, you’ll have to wait and see, but believe us when we say that there are many more adventures ahead fro School of Dragons! Q3) So you noticed the dormitories huh? Keep an eye out, we have some interesting plans ahead. As you know we just got the game up, and we have an AMAZING fan base letting us know all of the issues they are finding. We will be spending some time on fixing a lot of the things you are finding, and bigger issues as well as finishing off new content to update. Also, with regard to free content, our updates will have a little bit for everyone. We want to reward our members, as well as keep the game fun and interesting for everyone. We can assure you that no one will be encouraged to beat up any family member for our updates Q4) You can think of "Admin" as the collective team behind School Of Dragons. We work closely with a number of different teams to bring our fans a fully integrated gaming experience. Q5) As we work to grow the forum with this amazing community of fans, we'll be creating all kinds of content and areas for the forums and social media sites. We want to be as available to our fans as possible, so stay tuned! Your interest in School of Dragons is beyond appreciated by our team.

Thanks for replying, I'm very excited for all the new content, and with the second season of the tv series coming out soon, I'm eagerly awaiting the changes that come with it.although I didn't see any confirmation or denial to the dragon leather ottoman!

I agree as well, your own home would be an awesome addition So, here are my bunch of questions... -Will there be more dragons that we can chose from later on? And will we eventually be able to choose more than one dragon, without having to make a new account and avatar? I think if that feature would be added, you should be able to choose which dragon you want to play throughout the game with. Again, they all be staying at your own home, or in a home specifically for them. -Will there be another way of earning gems in-game? I think there should, just to make things fair, especially since many things in the store are worth only gems (though I'm sure more gold-worth things will be added). I think that maybe every time you level up, you earn a certain amount of gems, although not many. Just to avoid making the game too limited for those without a membership, and without needing to buy more gems with real money. Just to keep things fair and balanced. -Are there eventually going to be more activities done with Hiccup/Toothless? Just like at the beginning of the game, you ride him. I'm sure everyone would love more activities like this -What the real reason that night furies weren't added? XD Yes we all know that up until now, Toothless is the only one...but why did the team decide not to include more in the game? My own guess is that so many people would be choosing them, and not any of the other dragons...But I just want to be sure. -Is a non-browser version planned? I think one asking it a standalone game would help with preformance, as it wouldn't be running on the browser. And, if the mobile version is to have an offline feature, why can't the PC version have that too? That would be a great and helpful addition as well. And while online, I think like for example, Roblox, you should have the option to play by yourself, or online with all the people. -For the Mobile version, which I'm still eagerly waiting for, and wish to know about when it will be out...what devices will be compatible with it? In this case, I'm referring to the apple products. Which generations of each can run the game? And lastly.. Can you add the jumping rocks in the lab back? That was kinda funny...XD
thanks for doing a Q&A, I look forward to your answers. These are some a friend and I have been wondering, and that maybe others have too ^^ Q1) Yes! We have plans for this, but they weren't quite ready for the opening of School of Dragons. The more you play, you'll find that we try to make updates available to players regularly and that's what you'll be seeing with the dragons! Q2) Yes, we are working on developing this system a little more down the road. However, for now, gems are something that cannot be earned in-game. Q3) Of course! There are a ton of new features planned for School of Dragons. You'll need to check back with us regularly for updates. The more feedback we get from fans like you, the better! What types of adventures would you like to join Hiccup and Toothless on? Q4) Interesting question... very interesting question. We'll have to get back to you on that one one of these days. However, we do like where you are going with that one. Your curiosity will get you far at School of Dragons! Q5) We do have a mobile version in the works as we speak. Stay tuned for more info or you can read a little more about it at our site, SchoolOfDragons.com! When this app is released you'll read about it here on our forum, our official blog and of course on our site. Q6) We are aiming to have the game working on as many devices as possible, so that there will be no limit to your gameplay. We want to make it easy for players to complete in-world tasks no matter their location. When the app is available, wee may do a limited release first, and work out issues until we can release on more and more mobile platforms.

OOOHHH! Thanks so much for creating this!! Q1) If/when the game introduce battling dragons and rival viking clans, will there be a bigger plot in the it all? (For example, having to defeat a viking clan that threatens to take over Berk) Q2) I noticed you were able to go WAY out of the map when flying. Are you going to set boundaries on how far people can fly? Or are you just going to let people fly for as far and long as they want? Q3) Will there be games and contests later on (such as design your own dragon contest) for people to win in-game prizes? Q4) How many people are at work in the team? Q5) How long has the team been working on this project? Q6) Will you at some point be able to have the option to fly to where your friends are? Or will you just have to message them and meet them somewhere? Thanks so much for all the hard work your doing!! Q1) Of course! We will be working with the Dreamworks team closely as we develop new plots and storylines from the tv series and the movie! In the meantime, you are always more than welcome to let us know what you would like to see happen in the world of School of Dragons. Q2) Yes, as fun as it is to go outside of the world, we will be covering the holes all of you have found. However, I don’t think that’ll stop you from looking, so good luck! Q3) Oh yes, individual dragon racing is just the beginning. Expect more, much much more! Q4) There are a bunch of us working on making this game better every day! From producers, artists, game designers, testers, and our community team we work as a collective group to make sure that we are giving our fans a fully integrating gaming experience that leaves you constantly looking for more. Q5) We have been working non-stop for months on end, but this is just the beginning! There is a ton of great content in the works for when we begin growing School of Dragons! Q6) We love seing players interact with one another and soon, you'll have the ability to visit your friends and fly around. Stay tuned to the boards and our Official Blog for more information on this! Thank you for checking out School of Dragons! We are always eager to connect with fans and get this type of feedback on the game.

Alright seeing as how you've answered a lot of tough questions already, I think i'll ask a harder one! How on earth do the boats get in and out of the school with the whole rock wall surrounding it?

Sounds good, I really look forward to what you guys can come up with 2. Okay, thanks 3. Awesome, that's exciting to know It was pretty cool flying with him and Hiccup, and doing experiments with Toothless in the lab. As for what adventures...Well, I can only think of so many! Even crazy ones. A huge fan of the movie like me would of course say that. Some that I would like, probably like in the dragon races, racing him and Toothless with you and your own dragon. We all know they're the fastest in racing. It could be a good challenge to try and beat them, and see what humorous things Hiccup says about Toothless because they lost XD. Another one would be being able to do certain tasks/quests with them. But there are so many more we can all imagine. 4.Really? Thanks! I'll wait then I still support the idea Tempest came up with. Obtaining your own night fury at the very end or at a high level. Maybe as a prize to "graduate" the school of dragons. It IS a school after all, so eventually you need to graduate it, or get rewarded for all your work somehow, don't you think? 5 and 6 .I think I'm more excited for the mobile version than any update on the game. Although unfortunately it may be a while until its finished, I'm glad youre all taking your time to make it as compatible as possible I'm sure it'll easily get among the top apps in the app store even! And I wonder the same as p3t3rsam XD

Is this closed? If not, a few questions:
1:Will breeding be implimented?: It would be a fine addition to the game once multi-dragons are implemented, how it works: A little place in the school is called the dragons cave, you put 2 dragons in (Can be yours or a friends) and you come back a day later and the person there will say that your dragons had an egg! If you bred with another vikings dragon, they will get an egg too. You can go into the hatchery to hatch the egg like before. If you want to change any of this, feel free to, as you are the devs, not me.
2:Will we be able to have multiple dragons?: Yes, I know this was asked before, but its sort of different how I put it. People can have a max of 4 dragons, then they will need to stop or release one.
3:Will events be added?: Different events would randomly happen, such as sheep escaping, defeating a rouge dragon, one of the vikings dragons go missing, and ect. This would only happen a few times a day, and it would provide some XP, and coin.
4:Are holiday events planned?: You know, the viking Christmas and Easter and ect.
5:Will dragon duels be added?: Fighting another player for fun using fireballs would be fun, and provide a use for the currently useless HP.
6: How do you get the Thunder Drum and Whispering death?: Me and my sister both want one of these, but we have no idea how to get one. Could you please tell us how?
7: Special question! Is Toothless the only Night Fury?: This question relates to the game because it effects if we will ever train our own Night Furies.
Thanks for reading!

I'm glad that we've the chance to see the game growing and to recognize the changes. You know, when a year has passed by, we all can say "Yeah, you know, in the Beta, it was all like this and this..." and we can sound like grandmothers who are talking about the good ol' times xD
