We have this awesome 3D Berk where we can raise our own dragons and do stuff, but what I am missing are some random adult NPC who'd just roam around the scene. Berk looks kinda weird when you have a hundred of teens running around and no adults, right? The implementation of this might be tricky, I know, but it would certainly boost the experience and make the scenes somewhat richer... and maybe more believable.
My next idea which would be really awesome to implement would be to allow players to craft their own stuff (and become Hiccup). I think the gameplay would be so much better when players would not be limited only to quests, and could do things on their own, like gather resources (wood, rocks) and transform them into tools. There could also be a some kind of market where people could sell the stuff they made, so it can be also an income of gold. This is just a basic idea, and indeed needs to be elaborated further, so feel free to add your idea to this.
Maybe I'll come up with some more ideas later. So far this game is looking really promising!

You have really great ideas, I must admit! But I'm sure these would take some time to make, since tey're really huge ideas. And I'm not sure about the adult vikings walking around. Some players already have problems and lagging issues, wouldn't these NPCs make it worse? :/ But cool ideas, really! We'll see what Admin says to that

>I like the idea of Npc's that serve no purpose but to fill the village, which is admittedly a ghost town. I have no idea how the current system handles npc's and such, but the addition of intelligent NPCS could add lag to the already lag ridden game. Also, given that there currently are no NPCS with paths to follow (NPCs that walk and move) this could prove to be a challenge. Crafting could be interesting, and given that there are already logs and such in the game, as well as survival aspects as fishing and fire making, this could be a fun addition.
>The only opposition I have to these ideas is that this game isn't minecraft and the DEV's can't just add anything. I'm not sure if this game was expected to generate revenue or hype but i feel that unless a lot of people purchase in game stuff with real money, there won't be much of a drive to include new features.
>In the spirit of suggesting fun things, a cool endgame would be if you could build a house somewhere. I'd prefer that it followed Skyrim's Hearthfire DLC's way of having blueprints that allow you to choose different Ways to make different houses. For example, you could either have a balcony or a fireplace, but not both. I love this idea so much, that I'll be making a mockup of it later. Imagine being able to decorate your custom house with ingame furniture purchased from the shop, and have furniture be expensive if you purchased with coins but also availible cheaply in gems (real life money). Maybe pay money (real money or TONS of coins) to get a house deed, and then purchase furniture from the shop. Have the houses located in different cells so that you can invite friends to see them, but also not invaded by other players and lag. I would gladly pay money for a buildable house DLC. Get on it devs! xD

There doesn't have to be many of the adult characters, just a few. I am sure 5 more characters won't peace the whole game (okay... 10 with their dragons). They could also be spawning randomly around the village, most logical would be at entrance to the houses, and despawning once they reach their destination (which could be another house). I am aware of the lagging issues. I was actually thinking players could just turn them on or off, but I do not think that is a good idea. We'll see what will the staff say.

I kinda like the idea of NPC's walking around. It'll make Berk and the school look a bit more like a community than a rundown village I also like the idea of crafting things, gathering them, and selling them for gold. The only thing I question about it is that we don't have a lot of room to roam yet in the game. I think once we've gotten more areas to explore and discover, it might be a bit more of a challenge and a lot less crowded. Great ideas by the way!!

Support, but I agree. It may cause lagging and crashing. Crafting, I definitely agree. We have all these trees and rocks, but they really have no use except for quests. Maybe we could craft gear like saddles and other things that might even boost your dragon's speed and have other uses.

Faster dragon riding would be amazing. Maybe even have vapor trails like in the movie!

Faster dragon riding, and possibilities to do spins, falls and all other crazy stuff we can see in the movies would be awesome

Yeah, like another mini game which consists in doing tricks and stunts? That would be neat

We are glad to have you on board as we further develop the game. Overall, these are some interesting points that we'll be sure to share with the rest of our team. The crafting and trade activities sounds like they'd be a hit among young Vikings in School of Dragons!
