It's always like this. Everytime I try to type something and enter it, nothing comes out. :<

Aye, I second that.
I've also noticed that you generally can't speak in any language other than English, and there's some very strange things that you cannot say.
(I was trying to say some Russian, it wouldn't let me say 'Menya zovut'- the only Russian I know. However, it would let me say 'men' 'ya' 'zo' but not 'vut'? or 'vu'? What's up with that? I also had to spell out some words using the first letter of each word - for instance 'Did Ruffnut Annoy Gobber's Only Nadder' but obviously not for that word)

We've been working on updating it and fixing any bugs we find since we want players to be able to talk to each other. Could you please let us know what browser, operating system, and computer you are using? Also, has the chat system worked for you before or does it work in certain areas? Any other information you provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

The chat for me blocks out specific words, such as 'one', 'fifth' (but forth is allowed) and many other seemingly random words, such as 'Nibbler' - the name of someone's dragon. It also doesn't allow single letters - for instance t or u. It will not allow ':D' or communication in any language other than English. It makes chatting with people super difficult cause if there's one word in a sentence that is blocked, the entire sentence will not be posted. Also, the names of some people's vikings seem to be blocked too - today I met a viking called Natallie (I think it was) and someone else and I couldn't say either of their names. It would be pretty swell if you could maybe allow more vocabulary in that chat and vocabulary in other languages too. It's done this ever since the start. Another aspect of the chat that is slightly annoying is the fact that everyone says that they have caught a fish in the chat when they catch a fish, whether they want to or not. I honestly have no clue the reason someone could come up with for wanting that to happen because it clogs up the chat and, to be honest, no one cares who has caught a fish because we all catch fish all the time. Not only that, but the compulsory fish phrase says has a typo in it, too. (I cannot remember fully but I believe it says 'I caught a brown trout/perch/whatever yaY!') Truly annoying. Oooh, also would there be any way in which the chat could be used whilst you're doing something else? (Like walking?) It's a bit annoying that you have to stop to open up the chat and then close the chat when you want to do something. The ability to multitask in this area would be much appreciated! Other than that, the chat system works and is awesome, like the rest of the game c: |

I not really sure if there are specific places where the chat works but sometimes it sends my messages, some other times it doesn't. It doesn't for the most part actually. |
