SoD has some amazing new features that are waiting for you to explore. Check out all the exciting activities you can experience now in the game:
Updated Chat
We’ve heard our players’ cries for an updated chat system that will let them talk to their friends and clan members. Adjustments have been made to the game chat system so now you can socialize with your fellow Vikings with ease.
Invite a Friend via Facebook
It seems that everyone has a Facebook account, even the rugged Vikings! Now you can invite your Facebook friends to join the SoD adventure. Soar through the skies, join clans, and complete quests with your Facebook friends.
2 New Crops at the Farm
By now, you’re the unquestioned master at growing crops like corn and sunflowers. Time to mix things up! Lavender and the toothache plant are available to grow at your farm. Try your hand at these new plants and see what cool things you can do with them!
2 New Laboratory Quests
The Botanist has 2 NEW LABORATORY QUESTS for you to complete. Draw upon your experience and knowledge of the scientific method to see what secrets she wants you to uncover.
5 New Quests
The adventure at SoD continues as 5 NEW QUESTS have been added. See what new challenges await you and your fellow Vikings in Berk. Complete more quests to continue growing your legend among the Vikings.
New Flight Club Levels
Test out new courses at the Flight Club. However, there is a twist. You won’t be riding your own dragon. In these new levels you’ll be riding some of your favorite dragons—Meatlug and Groundsplitter! See what it takes to control these famous dragons and guide them toward record-setting times!
MAKE YOUR OWN CLAN!
Arguably the most anticipated new feature, CLANS ARE NOW AVAILABLE IN SOD! Grab your friends and create your very own clans. Choose an epic name that embodies what your clan is all about and write a witty description to tell others who belongs in your group. Do you want your clan to be massive and open to everyone? Make it a public clan. Perhaps you’re seeking only the best Vikings SoD has to offer. Set your clan to invite only. You choose the path your clan embarks on and the prestige it will gather throughout Berk.
To make your clan even more unique, design your very own crest. Choose from a variety of designs and create a crest with a unique color scheme. Carefully consider the message you want to send to other Vikings as your crest will become the icon by which others remember your clan.
Once your clan has been created, start inviting your friends! You can send messages to your clan, and talk with clan members through our updated chat system. At SoD, communicating is simple so you can easily coordinate clan meetings and discuss important topics.
