- more characters - MORE DRAGONS  - more villains = more conflict yay! - more conflict = more story! - character development - more places ;w; - mind blowing plot twist - and one epic scene that's gonna make everyone have goosebumps UvU |

I'm hoping for some mauling, maybe a shoulder or something... Because it's only fun if you get a scar out of it. ;-D
In all seriousness, I'd like to see more of the relationship between Hiccup and Astrid, and Hiccup and Toothless. Also, more dragons and more places/characters (Romans, maybe?), because that will make it so much more interesting. Maybe Alvin the Treacherous will make an appearance? Depends on whether he's utterly vanquished in Season 2 of the TV show or not... A press release from the team I found online said that Hiccup and Toothless will find themselves at the center of a bigger conflict brewing between dragons and mankind, and I can't help but wonder what that'll be...

I think that epic scene is going to be the final battle between Hiccup and Alvin (Like harry and voldemort) that will finally k ill alvin once and for all because we're all wanting him gone.....or since its more of a kids show it will make alvin leave berk forever and NEVER return. edit: Whoops httyd2 not RoB xD like all movies, Hiccup will find something out about the dragons or vikings, his parents, Valka and Stoick will tell him not to go because its too dangerous, he'll go, can in a real tight situation and then get saved by Stoick and Valka because they knew he would go, then defeat whatever they're up against once and for all! |

TBH I think I'd like to see quite different stuff to everyone else ^^:
Great animation
Cute, well flowing story
Not too much change from the first movie (Although I think I can already say that one doesn't count any more)
Unpredictability (that was great in the first one)
Humour that's as good as the first one
Feels as good as the first one
Not so many new characters or new places since I think it might get a bit cluttered if too much is stuffed in
Intelligence
Just a good movie basically XD
Not lead on too much from the series because I haven't actually watched it and neither have quite a lot of people who have seen HTTYD - it's gotta be 'The Hunger Games'-ish, not 'The Last Airbender'-ish.

i just saw the trailer, and I'm wondering if those 2 will be a problem to the riders in the show,the white one seems like it will be in a few episodes, while the fireworm-like one seems like it will only be in one :l

Oh sweet mother of Thor... I absolutely canNOT miss Defenders of Berk!
Back on topic, I suppose what I really want to see in HTTYD 2 more than cool dragons or new characters or anything, is more of what made the first one special. A gripping story, deep relationship, and characters and settings that feel real. And, of course, an incredible musical score that steps up and engages the story rather than sitting in the background.
