"I know you're excited. I am too." He was right. The money could do wonders for them in the future. Or even now. "This is unreal..." she mumbled. "But...I love it." Boe took his hand in hers and linked their fingers.

Vim laughed. "Maybe parents are right sometimes." He looked behind them. The dragons watched them with amusement. "We'll need a place for them too.... Maybe a little bit into the woods I could build a roost."

She heard a bit of agreement from the dragons and chuckled a little. "I think that'd be nice...everything's changing, huh? Seemed like only yesterday, I was being shoved out of my house and making my way to the docks on the way to school. Now look at us."

He grinned. "I wouldn't have it any other way." He stood holding her hand as they watched the sunset. The day had flown by fast.

"Neither would I," she smiled. Another day was passing. That meant another day closer for the wedding. A day of new beginnings.

"We should probably tell our parents why we've been gone so long." Vim said. "Make up a good story." He smiled at her before pulling her in for a goodbye kiss. He hopped on Thorntail and flew home.

She agreed and kissed him back, watching him fly off before going home herself. Once home, her mother embraced her before she could really get inside. Of course, once everything settled, she was bombed with the usual 'Where were you' and 'Who were you with' and 'What were you doing'. It got old, but she just made just a joke of a story, saying she was seeing a Scottish boy and was going to run off with him. That didn't sit well, so she said it was a joke and went up to her room for the night. They might not have liked it, but she thought it was at least partially funny.

Vim's parents believed him when he told them he and Boethiah were checking out the house and Vim retreated to his room.
(Next day)
Vim woke early by himself. He practically lept out of bed. He was itching for adventure. He dressed and grabbed his spear off the wall. "Dad! I'm going to raid a burial mound of one of our ancestors."
"Be back before dinner!"

Boethiah awoke the next day and snuck out through her window. She didn't want to have to deal with her parents, so she just got dressed and jumped out. It was a harsh landing, but it wasn't the worst fall she's ever had. She got over to Zirth and jumped on, flying off to gain his speed. If she ever needed it, they'd both be prepared to make a quick escape.

On the trail through the woods Vim was only attacked by 2 herds of wild boars and one pack of wolves, so he considered it a good day. He made it to the burial crypt of his family. Thorntail chirped nervously. "I'll be fine bud. Just go in, grab a sword, and get out." He patted him. "I'll be back." He pushed the door open and it fell off the rusty hinges. "Great start." Vim muttered. He descended into the darkness.

"Come on Zirth! You're slacking again!" Boethiah raced through rocks and over islands, making ovals and increasing her times. She needed to go faster. It was always better. Zirth grunted and she rolled her eyes.

Vim reached the central chamber. He'd been attacked by giant rat-like creatures. He'd heard them called Skeevers, or something like that. It didn't matter to him. They died easy.
He saw the central tombstone. The oldest known member of his family on Berk. His name was Valgerd the Wolf Blooded. The story said he died fighting off the largest wolf pack on Berk single handedly, protecting the herd and ensuring the Village's survival during the winter. Vim opened to coffin and gazed at the skeleton. His sword was adorned with the teeth of a wolf in the hilt. Vim picked it up.
The retrieval of the sword was a rebirth for Viking men. Vim knew he had to become like his ancestor. It was his destiny. He grabbed the sword's sheath, which was the hide and fur from the head of the Alpha wolf, and slid the sword in. It looked like a wolf was regurgitating a sword. Vim closed the tomb and left the crypt.

The day went on and they trained hard. Even in the work, she was able to try so tricks which relied on trust, mainly. But also coordination. And thought the first few times were a bit messy, they eventually sorted it out.

Vim went to the forge. He saw Hiccup there. "Hey, dragon conquerer!" Vim called. Hiccup turned around surprised. "Vim? Please don't call me that." "Right. Sorry." He said, smirking. He unclipped the wolf sheath from his belt and set the sword on the workbench. "I need this restored."
Hiccup's eyes widened. "That is one impressive sword." He grabbed it by the tooth adorned hilt. "Valgerd the Wolf Blooded?" Hiccup asked. Vim nodded. "For the wedding?" Vim nodded again. "Dad said this ones on the house." Hiccup said.
"Thanks." As hiccup started sharpening the blade, Vim had a nagging question. "So when are you and Astrid getting married? We all know you two are a thing." Hiccup blushed a little. "I convinced my dad to wait." He confessed. "Well, you won't want to wait too long." Said Vim, "It's not as bad as you'd think." "Right." Said Hiccup unbelieving. "You can pick this up tonight."
Vim nodded and left, unsure of what to do with himself.
