Joining in the fray! Here's my character Dotta and Lil' Blackie, the Nightmare. And I swear--THAT'S NOT MERIDA!! I just used all my gems on the wild hair cus I thought it looked adorable. I don't know =_=;; ooh, nice!  but if Merida was in SoD she'd probably have a nightmare too lol |

Omg, there are so many great artworks here. Congrats to everyone!
I tried and failed miserably to draw me and my dragon (well the head of the dragon wasn't too bad.....).... maybe one day I'll post something here.

I know how you fell when you get all the proportions messed up, you would want to look over the whole picture every so often when your drawing. Other than that, it look very well done with the style and shading. Shading?  Thanks? XD If you want to see my shading, lookie... here! (But thank you reaaaallly much about the style! )  (It was a wip from December, that's why her body just plain sucks and her ear is weird and stuff c:) And yeah, you're so right about proportions. I can NEVER do them. They are always wong in some way, limbs are just stupid, I just... hwebdhbwjdbhw. I swear T_T I really like the style you've done the hair, I'm currently practicing to get that sort of effect on my drawings, the cartoon-ish thing. :3 |

This has been done for a while now. Posted up on Tumblr the other day and now I'll share it here too. Lost a lot of detail in the coloring but I think I gained some back too. ^^  |
