Vim simply sat down in front of the fire absently. "Man, I can not catch a break." He muttered, "I am never having kids." He knew he wouldn't keep the promise, but he felt better saying it.

Once in her room, she saw Bolla rolling around in her sheet, making a tangled mess. Boethiah was able to fish her out and calm her down before tucking her back in and walking downstairs. How did Vim live with his sister crying like that all the time, she wondered.

He saw her coming downstairs after 10 or so minutes. "Hey." He replied, standing up. "Well, now that the moment is ruined..." He laughed. "I'll put some more wood on the fire after we feed her again. I can do that if you want?"

"If you want to," she shrugged. "She is your sister, remember. You know what's best for her." And he wasn't a half bad dad, truly.

He grabbed the milk and filled the bottle. Then he went upstairs to feed her. As he fed her, he sang her the same battle-tune.
"Lo, there do I see my father. Lo, there do I see my mother, and my sisters, and my brothers. Lo, there do I see the line of my people... Back to the beginning. Lo, they do call to me. They bid me take my place among them. In the halls of Valhalla Where the brave may live forever."
That did it. By the end of the song, her eyes were drooped. He slipped off her cloth diaper and wrapped a new one on her. He set her in the bed and made sure she wouldn't be able to roll off. He left the door open as he walked back downstairs. "We have a few hours before she needs to be fed."

"Might as well use it for sleeping then," she suggested. "Might be a good idea if we want to be at least a little awake for tomorrow."

He sighed. "You're right." He piled 5 logs on the fire and made sure all the windows were shut. "Lead the way."

She nodded and lead him up the stairs to the second room. It was filled with weapons, some dented from battle, and a big enough bed pushed against the back wall. "I'm going to be honest and say I don't remember the last time i actually went in my parent's room...but let's get some sleep."

He nodded. The bed was big enough for the w=two of them. But it would be a little cozy. Not that he minded. He slipped his tunic off and hung it over a chair.

Oh gods he was shirtless again. But she tried not to pay attention to it and she took off her boots, vest, and skirt, staying in her shirt and leggings. Since it was cold out, she'd need the layers. But then she remembered that the sheets were thicker than hers slightly and the house was warm from the fire. So she took off her shirt as well, staying in her bindings and leggings. Looking back up, she saw him shirtless again and it was hard to hide her semi red face.

'Oh gods, she's undressed again!' He couldn't stop himself. His eyes roamed up and down hungrily, causing her to blush under his gaze. "So, ready for bed?" He asked her.

"Sure..." She never thought she'd ever say that. Boe got into bed on one side, letting Vim go on the other.

He slid into the soft furs and accidentally pressed into Boethiah's side. "Whoops," He whispered, though he didn't sound very sorry.

She got chills at his touch but smirked nonetheless. Her leg rubbed against his as she curled up slightly "whoops," she muttered with a smirk.

He turned on his side, facing her, his whole body cradling hers gently. "Oh. Whoops," He smiled in her hair, "Guess we'll have to sleep like this."
