She didn't want to think about marriage. She just wanted to ride Zirth and nothing else. Getting a boyfriend, that'd be fine. Marriage. She just wished she could wait.

Vim hated this stupid tradition. "I think he already arranged the contract..." He said. He just wanted to go to school, be with his friends. He supposed he could still do that, it would just be.... different.

Was that what his and her parents were talking about? Marriage? She got up suddenly and stood in silence for a bit. "I'm umm...I'm going to go for a walk." With that, she walked off down the beach.

Vim stood up as well. "Let's just sleep here tonight." He said. "You guys start the fire. I'll hunt us something to eat." He took a spear off Thorntail's saddle and walked off towards Boethiah.
