Metal could hear singing from above him and the smell odd mead but it was an odd smelling mead, He found a crack in the ceiling and put his ear next to it to listen to the singing. //OOC Oh gods they're singing about Skyrim I can't hfdhhbdfgjdhbg XD That's hilarious! |

(I, I guess  Annabethe would help, if Skips asks her). Annabethe felt the wind in her hair. She circled Berk, tears streaming from her eyes. Allyssa and her used to race around Berk on foot, before they had come to this school. She would've loved racing her on dragons. |

Vim smiled back. "I just convinced my mom I was fine enough to leave. So, I was thinking.... I don't know where everyone else is, so...." He was stammering. He pulled himself together. "How about we get some frozen yak cream?" He asked. He wanted a chance to talk about where their friends were.

She remembered that he said that when it was over, he'd take her to get frozen yak cream. Guess he didn't forget either. Boethiah chuckled a little. "Sounds great. I'd love to."

They sat down in the plaza with their frozen treat. They sat for awhile in silence. Finally, Vim broke the silence. "Skips talked to me," he blurted, "do you know her? She was looking for Metal."

Skips hummed a short tune, deep in thought. Okay, so who did she 'know' who could help her? And by 'know' she meant 'was acquaintances with' who could help her. She thought of the battle and the girl with the lost sister. She had helped look at first but then had found out of Metal's banishment and foccused on that instead. Perhaps she could make a bargain that they help each other look? It was worth a try, as long as she could make Annabethe believe that Metal wasn't a traitor, or at least to make her give him a chance.
She had to find her first, though. The girl hopped onto her dragon and set off into the skies of Berk, aiming to scan the ground for anyone grieving anywhere. She probably wouldn't be at her house because of her sister, and stuff, she guessed. However, she didn't have to look long because she caught sight of a figure riding a dragon in the sky just in front of her.
"Hey!" She called, hoping the girl would hear her over the wind.

She sat down with him and then looked at him curiously when he brought up this other person. "No...I don't think I know her. Why was she looking for Metal?" Where was he, for lack of a better question. "He has been gone since the battle. Allyssa too."

Dotta's mother sat beside her on the bed and her father stood beside them both. She wrapped her arms around Dotta as the doctors examined her arm. Dotta's face turned ashe gray. With the bandages gone, Dotta could see what was left of her arm. The amputation extended to just above her elbow. The nub of her arm was swollen and red. It was an angry shade of red, Dotta thought to herself. How fitting.
The doctors prepared Dotta for her next treatment. Dotta had been removed of her tunic leaving only a few bandages to taper her chest. She was then carried off and placed in a tub of warm water. During the explosion Dotta had received burn damage all across her left side. Her torso and left arm had extensive third degree burns, which caused patches of her skin to rot and turn black. The doctors had to soak her skin in water until it became soft. That was when they removed the blackened skin by peeling it off the still living and newly grown skin underneath. It was a painful process that caused dotta to scream out. But at least it wasn't as bad at the xplosion.
((man this was painful to write....i've went thru the debridement process before. shudders))

She sighed a little. "You knew the risks, Vim. And it isn't like Metal's incapable of protecting himself. I'm sure that he's still out there."

His yak cream didn't seem so appetizing anymore. "Yes, but I still feel responsible. I'm going to start finding leads. Maybe when I'm fully healed..." He looked at Boethiah. "When i find a lead on him... Would you come with me to get him?"
