Build our story - roleplay- chapter 2- A school once seiged

Dotta and Lil' Blackie landed no more than a few seconds after Allyssa had. Dotta watched as the girl took out a comb from her bag.

"Must be nice to have hair that that you can actually comb." Dotta joked as she pointed to her wild and uncontrollable curls.

[Tempest]

"You think my hair is easy to comb?" Allyssa said. "I try not to as best as I can." She winced as she ran the comb through her hair.

"here, let me teach you a trick. Get the comb nice and wet. That way it slides through your hair. Better?"

[Tempest]

"I've tried, it works sometimes," Allyssa said, then smiled. "Thanks for trying to help me though."

"No prob!" Dotta smiled back.

"AHEM." Dotta and Allyssa turned around to see Gobber standing behind them. And behind Gobber was the rest of the students and a few adults. "If you lassies are done now, then can we get on with the class?" There was a certain slyness about Gobber's voice that made Dotta feel completely embarrassed.

"Sure." Her voice was a nervous squeak.

"Great!" Gobber turned to the rest of teh students. "Now ye all know about the impending war, right? So, itsa gonna be my job to prepare you for ye enemies. The Outcasts will all be bigger than ya, and I'm here to teach how to fight larger enemies."

((trying to make it sound like Gobber.  I think i failed...))

[Tempest]

Allyssa turned a bit pink. She vowed to listen to Gobber and not get caught off-track.

"Alright! Now ye'all are tiny. And I mean teeny-tiny. You're really all the smallest vikings that I ever did see!" Many of the student began giving Gobber some dangerous looks. One of teh accompanying adults nudged Gobber in the side. "Oh. Right. Carrying on, there is one way to take advantage of yer puniness-I mean, short stature. Ye all have low centers of balance. Ye see, it'll be that much harder for Alvin and his men ta hit ya!"

[Tempest]

(Allyssa's actually tall, but probably not to Gobber XD. She's also very thin.)




"Huh, I guess that makes sense." Annabethe said, crossing her arms.




Allyssa glared at her, as if to say Shut up.

((i was going for an overall view. And Gobber is a blowhard too))

"Is that why the grown-ups are here?" Dotta asked.

"Very good. Yes it is. They're all here ta help ye train in the art of fighting and war. I won't have any of ye start with weapons just yet. Stick ta ye hands for now. And get comfortable with battling someone whose three times yer size. Now hop to it, gents!"

[Tempest]

(Gents are gentlemen right?)




Most of the girls cleared their throats. "Ahem!"

((on the nosie!))

"Oh and ladies too. Sorry." The girls nodded their approval. "No hurt feelers? SO get to it already!" Gobber snapped.

The teens broke into small groups. And each group had an adult assigned to them. Dotta's had a man named Fergus. He was a typical viking - 6'4" and built like a brick wall.

[Tempest]

Allyssa was assigned to the same person.





Annabethe was different.

Fergus began their first lesson. "Start by coming at me. I want to see how you kids fight." All of the teens jumped at the man. Dotta approached him low and fast. She tried to scissor sweep him but Fergus expertly jumped out of the way. And dodged all other attacks. Eventually he called their attack to a hault. "Not bad, all of you. You've got gusto and tenacity. That's good. You'll need it against the Outcasts. But I'm going to show how to channel that energy properly so you'll all be the best darn warriors out there."

After about 150 or so more shots, she started getting messy and decided to rest a bit. Metal had gone off earlier to do other things so she thought he wouldn't mind if she stopped for the day. After hooking on the bows to her saddle, Zirth nudged her over and over, in which she responded with a chuckle. "Okay! Okay, Zirth. We can fly now." She got on her saddle and launched into the air, flying out of the caldera to do some laps around the extinct volcano.

(That reminds me, Allyssa is very VERY good at dodging, but she can only deal massive amounts of damage when she's really determined or angry.)




I wonder how, Allyssa thought.
