Yes, I agree, it should not be a pay2win, that is not what I meant. I mean that it needs to be very hard, if NF's are even implemented! The reason you need to be a member is because most players will not have the membership, and they may be out of eggs. And you guys aren't understanding, I am not one of those "plz ad nite furis 2 teh gam" kind of people, I was just saying, IF they were to implement Night Furies in to the game one day, this is my idea on how they should do it. having a membership=paying paying for membership=paying for a dragon paying for a dragon-p2w I know you didn't MEAN it but by what you're explaining, thats how it has to be in order to get it. We shouldn't have to pay to get a dragon (at least not the NF) You see, if the membership thing is not in place, 2 things go wrong: 1: NF'S are much easier to get. 2: Nobody will get the membership and the game will stop development because of lack of funds. Its like locking up a safe, its full of money, and people want money BAD. If you don't lock up that safe HARDCORE, it will get robbed. Same deal with the NF's. If this idea would be fine without the membership thing, then so be it. But the world will get clogged with them and they won't be special anymore. Besides, the event happens once every year or so, only goes on for a week, you need to through TONS of puzzles and stuff, you need an open slot, you need to be a member (Maybe) , it will have to be after we find out that there are more (If we do) NF's, and you can run out of eggs. Maybe the egg count is more like 30-50? Besides, it isn't p2w if you don't win, you just get a cool dragon.

Its fine to get one, I am just saying that it is highly unoriginal to pick one, poor Zipplebacks and Gronkles... Unoriginal? Maybe people just like the Nadders and Nightmares over the other dragons. It's about a personal choice, not with social norms or anything like that. I like all the dragons, but I just prefer Nadders a bit more. They're more interesting to me than the others. I'm not saying that the other dragons aren't interesting, but I just think Nadders are cool. Its your choice, but think about it, you see, I don't know, 20-40 Nadders every time you log in. Its actually not that I don't like Nadders or whatever, its that they aren't special anymore, same with Nightmares. When I see Nadders, I think "Oh look, that's a pretty Nadder", when I see a Nightmare, I think "Why are they chosen so often?" When I see a Gronkle, Zippleback, or any of the code dragons I think: "Now that's a cool dragon!" It doesn't matter much to others I guess, but most people just look like anyone else, nothing too special (Not all the time though) . I actually have a Nadder myself, I love them, its just that they are chosen too often (Nadder was not my first dragon) :/

Well...I didn't find any of the other dragons fit my character - and I didn't have a code. I didn't want a dragon that fought itself, was clunky, or a crazy firespitter. It's just those other dragons aren't as popular. Monstrous nightmares are seen as strong and a "fighting" dragon (for people who like intimidating dragons) - Nadders are for Astrid clones and those who want a sensible dragon, or one that's pretty. You have to realize that eventually there will probably be just as many Gronckles and Zipplebacks as Nadders and Monstrous Nightmares. And no, I've not seen too many people looking all the same (unless they're Astrid clones). I think that's kind of silly to find a dragon cool just because it's the only one of it's kind in the room - the shoe would probably be on the other foot if the Nadders and Monstrous nightmares were the ones the members paid for. All you'd see would be Whispering Deaths and Thunderdrums. I do admit seeing the same four kinds of dragons is a little droll - but the game is new and there hasn't been time for new dragons to be added (which I hope they do - Timberjacks and Changewings are awesome!). As for the idea of a Night Fury added (if they are added to the series - I got that part of your idea), yes puzzles, levels or a specially hidden door somewhere only few people find every few years or so might be okay...but figuring how tight of a squeeze to make that gate is hard - people would be complaining about it being too hard, and if it was made more accessible, those now-common Nadders would start lookin' good amongst the throngs of Toothless and Hiccup cloned Night Furies/players.

FINELY! SOMEONE WHO GETS WHAT I AM SAYING! I do not think that Gronkles and Zipplebacks will ever be as popular as others, but there will be more, but there will still be even more nadders.

Whether night furies are implemented are not, it's up to dreamworks and SoD if night furies are added, I don't think we can change that All we can do know is pray that dreamworks doesn't make toothless the only night fury left

honestly i've stopped reading about the subject because it's just not going to happen. there have been dozens of threads such as this, and all with the same conclusion: night furies would overpopulate, and it just wouldn't be unique anymore.

Did you even read the OP? Besides, this is only IF they decide that they will find more in the series... My gosh I am tired of explaining that...

Do you think they will find more night furies? I'm guessing they are going to leave this unanswered, which I think is at better than toothless being the only night fury

But isn't school of dragons about training and bonding with your dragon? Then I think you should be able to train the dragon you want to, whether its a nightfury, a skrill, a nadder or whatever, I'm pretty sure SoD isn't apart of the tv series (maybe not yet) so technically you could add night furies to the game, but there are some drawbacks too. Indeed, it is. But go on school of dragons right now, look around you. The world is CLOGGED with Deadly Nadders and Monstrous Nightmares, heck, I bet you even have one. If a thing is very special, but then everyone gets one, its not very special anymore, is it? yeh.... but you can make your nadder special by giving it diff color combinations... they are adding more custimizable features to the dragons soon...... geez scott..... i mean seriously, if NF came availabe EVENTUUUALLY everyone will have them, whether it be hard to get or not.......... the world would be CLOGGED with NF eventuallly.......

Understand that? People can choose whatever dragon they want... If they like it, its special to them. and are you serious? ........ EVEN if you made the NF extrmemely hard to get...... EVENTUALLY the world will be CLOGGED WITH NF, liek you said... if people really want something, theyll do whatever it takes to get it..... do I stand correct? I believe I do. thanks for reading. :)

Everyone would revolt against that you know? 2 or 3 times a year... people would get really angry if they didnt get one.... everyone needs to chill out and wait and see what happens in the series....

I don't know. But what I do know is this. It doesn't matter if the dragon kind is special to you or not. What matters is that your dragon is important to you. And if you take Gobber's little matching quiz and you end up compatible with a Night Fury, then good for you. Doesn't mean you have to pick it, but you can't rag on others for getting it.

And to add to Pete, not only would people get angry, but people would then stop playing out of frustration that they put time and effort to come out with nothing. I agree with Pete here and say to wait. If there aren't any Night Furies other than Toothless, then there aren't and people are going to have to live with it. But we won't know until the future.

I don't care if you choose nadders or not, it is only my opinion that they are chosen too often and aren't quite as special as they used to be. If you like it, so be it, choose the dragon you want, be free, I am just saying if you chose a nadder, I won't see it as something particularly special, most of the time. Like I said above, the event does NOT go on forever. It only happens for about a week once every 2 years maybe, IF they decide to make it so there are more NF's. If you fail to get one somehow, you won't be able to get one until much later. The small amount of people that actually manage to obtain an egg will be very lucky. Maybe only 10-20 eggs are in the nest, 100 is a bit of a stretch. It won't be clogged because of all the setbacks, most regular players wont be able to get an egg in time. If I have proved my point, please, no more replies like this, Ok? Thank you!
