Hello! This little guide will help you keep your dragon happy.
There are currently 2 meters that show your dragon's stats.
Energy
The orange bar above the happiness meter is the energy meter. It costs energy to pick up items for quests. It also costs energy to play with your dragon. Training your dragon costs energy as well. You can keep your dragon full of energy by feeding your dragon fish. You can fish at the ponds once you get a fishing rod. The energy meter increases over time.
Happiness
The yellow bar below the energy meter is the happiness meter. The happiness meter will decrease over time. To keep your dragon happy, play with it! Playing with your dragon costs you energy. So don't play with your dragon if it's happiness is full.
Now I'll show you how to feed and play with your dragon.
To feed your dragon, click on your dragon, then click the feed button. To play with your dragon, click on your dragon, then click the play button. There are currently 2 toys your dragon can play with, the ball and the light. Your dragon will follow the light. And when you throw the ball, the dragon will fetch it.
Oh and by the way, don't let the 2 meters get too low, or else your dragon cannot train or help you. \

Thanks! I also wanna give a tip for this topic: After playing Flight Club or doing Races, you shouldn't do so many in a row. Your dragons energy gets really low if you do 3 races in a row. So always check after you played a bit! Your dragon will be thankful for a little snack and a break  |

If you got your dragons happiness to Zero, is there a way to get it back up Yep! You can play with your dragon. Click on your dragon and click on the bouncing ball. Play with it for a bit, and it'll raise it's happiness. It costs energy though, so be sure you have energy before you play with it! |

My Dragons' energy is at zero and I've been trying to play with it to get it back up but whenever I click on the play button, nothing happens and my Dragon still has no energy. I've tried reloading the game and all that.

Use the ball to play fetch or the magnifying glass to have your dragon chase the light. After playing, your dragon's happiness meter will fill up. |

My Dragons' energy is at zero and I've been trying to play with it to get it back up but whenever I click on the play button, nothing happens and my Dragon still has no energy. I've tried reloading the game and all that. Hi, Toarin. When your dragon's energy meter is at zero, you will need to feed it fish to get its energy back up. If your dragon has no energy, it won't be able to play with you. Try giving it some fish and then playing with it. Let us know if that works! |

I have noticed that not many people seem to know about the quickest and easiest, third way to make your dragon happier - petting! (Which also doesn't decrease any of your dragon's happiness.) A viking can do this by clicking onto the normal place to play with their dragon. Now, instead of clicking on the ball or the light, click on your dragon! Do this repeatedly until their happiness has reached full. It really is that simple and it saves a lot of time! A simple cuddle means a lot. I have know this trick for a while and your right. If you click on your dragon and roll you mouse for a bit you dragon you can easily get your dragon from zeto happiness to a hundred like that.
Also I don't know if its a glitch only for me but after I do that my dragon energy go up by one every time.

I actually found another way that not only increases happyness but also increases food as well. I was testing this my nadder Silver Fang and found if I fed her Herring or Pearch she increase her food and happiness. I think depending on the type or kind of dragon will depend on the fish that will increase the happyness

A trick I use is that if you're energy is low, or you're down a couple of points before taking on Flight Club, is to go find a quiet corner and just stay there. When your dragon curls up and falls asleep, they regenerate energy points without needing to eat fish.
This is a good time to stand up and stretch in real life, get something to drink, or use the loo. If you don't move for too long, the screen gets a white film over it and your Viking has gone idle, but you just click the button and you're good again.
I like to do this in the school courtyard, and watch the Vikings and Dragons go by. It's interesting to see the various colour combinations and how everyone has personalised themselves.
