it's basically like this:
- 1st sem starts, midterms, finals 1st sem ends
- sem break
- 2nd sem starts, midterms, finals 2nd sem ends
- sem break
- 3rd sem starts midterms, finals 3rd sem ends
- sem break
- then another school year starts

Ah, in England we have terms and half terms (usually half terms are six or seven weeks but some schools call them terms? Dunno why) We (nearly) always have: September: 1st term - half term 1 Week break October-ish: 1st term - half term 2 Two week break for Christmas January: 2nd term - half term 1 Week break February-ish: 2nd term - half term 2 Two week break for Easter (or three weeks? Can't remember) Some random month: 3rd term - half term 1 Week break June-ish I think: 3rd term - half term 2 SUMMER HOLIDAYS FOR 6 OR SEVEN WEEKS WOO |
